Law & Order may be returning for Season 24 on NBC, but one of its most familiar faces will be gone.
Camryn Manheim’s three-season run on the procedural will end on May 16 with the Law & Order Season 23 finale.
It’s unclear at this point whether Manheim is walking away from the show of her own volition or if she becomes another casualty of the mass exodus plaguing Dick Wolf’s long-running procedural dramas across the broadcast TV landscape.
Manheim was a large part of the revival’s success and has emerged as a fan favorite in the role of Lt. Kate Dixon.
“I had the most incredible experience being a part of the Law & Order Universe, and more importantly the Wolfpack,” the actress shared in an Instagram statement.
“I’m so thankful for the three wonderful seasons that I spent with this wildly talented cast of merry pranksters.”

After more than a decade of following catfish stories, Catfish: The TV Show host Nev Schulman admits he continues to be shocked – and the latest season on MTV is a whopper.
Schulman brought catfishing to the mainstream via his 2010 documentary when he was catfished by a woman in Michigan. Realizing this phenomenon wasn’t unique to his situation, Schulman launched his series to help others who suspect they’ve been deceived.
Schulman said since he was catfished, the Internet has grown and provided a vast breeding ground for endless deception. “With the Internet now serving as this incredible multiplier of human interaction by pairing people with each other whom never, ever should or would have met otherwise,” Schulman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “You get an infinite number of interactions which many, lead to better or worse catfish situations.”

Horror television has been dominated by vampire shows based on books like True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, and Vampire Academy to name a few. Werewolves appeared on some, and also got their own show in Teen Wolf, based on the comedy movies. But Wolf Pack is based on the books by Edo van Belkom, but the Wolf Pack series changes a few things.

Wolf Pack creator Jeff Davis was on a Television Critics Association Zoom panel for Wolf Pack on Sept. 21. He explained where he was faithful to van Belkom’s books, but also where he took the show in new directions. New episodes of Wolf Pack stream Thursdays on Paramount+.

When Paramount announced the release of a new show from Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis, most assumed Wolf Pack would be a spinoff of the popular MTV show. However, Wolf Pack‘s cast recently made it clear the upcoming show is completely original.
What is ‘Wolf Pack’ about?
Wolf Pack is based on a book series of the same name. The books tell the story of a couple who rescue a pack of young wolf cubs who end up turning into human babies. They follow the group of kids as they balance high school with their supernatural adventures.

In every generation, there is a Chosen One. But for many, there’s a particular Chosen One who has transcended all that with a legacy that endures from one generation to the next.
Kendra and Faith both hold a special place in our hearts, but it’s Buffy Summers who will forever remain the blueprint, even now. Sunnydale would have been a very different place without its signature Slayer, and it’s safe to say that TV as a whole would have been very different without Sarah Michelle Gellar too.
In the 20 years that have passed since Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended, Gellar has slayed all manner of projects, from underrated roles in Ringer and Southland Tales to an instantly iconic comeback in Do Revenge.
And now she’s back on our screens, working both in-front-of and behind the camera for a new TV show called Wolf Pack.

For many genre fans, there’s no more formative figure in our collective consciousnesses than Sarah Michelle Gellar, iconic lead of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the woman who taught us all how to fight back against monsters of both the fictional and all-too-human varieties (and drop some very quotable one-liners in the process). Now, 25 years later, she’s about to take a leading role on another show that aims to use its scary setting as a backdrop to explore frighteningly human themes and real-world issues.
The Buffy star will return to supernatural TV this January on Wolf Pack, a horror-tinged drama that Gellar says “isn’t what people expect” from her or creator Jeff Davis before anyone asks, this show is definitely not set in the same universe as Davis’s other horror drama, Teen Wolf,...

Click here to read the full article.
Sarah Michelle Gellar is “grateful” that the NBC TV reboot of Cruel Intentions never got off the ground, sharing that she believes it’s better suited for streaming than a broadcast network.
In an interview with The New York Times to promote her new film, Netflix’s Do Revenge, Gellar spoke about dipping her toe back into acting, how her character in the movie is a grown-up version of her Cruel Intentions character Kathryn Merteuil and why she hasn’t spoken about negative experiences she had as a young woman in Hollywood.
Speaking about her time on the NBC series, which got a pilot order in February 2016 before being shelved in October of that same year, Gellar said the network and concept weren’t a good fit.
“I don’t know. That was a whole crazy time,” the actress and Wolf Pack executive producer said.
