As a member of the royal family, Camilla Parker Bowles is well-acquainted with the sparkle of tiaras. However, departing from the traditional royal wedding norms, she chose not to sport a tiara when she exchanged vows with King Charles.
In contrast, during her first wedding back in the 70s, Camilla did adorn an exquisite tiara. Here’s a closer look at Camilla’s bridal headpiece and why she opted out of wearing it for her second marriage ceremony.

The Rookie: Feds had some expectations heaped on it from the moment the spinoff was announced.
The Rookie is the perfect balance of comedy, action, and romance, and as such, those were to be expected of the spinoff.
So, how did it fare?
It's worth noting that throughout the first half of The Rookie Feds Season 1, the show was establishing itself by developing characters and finding its place in The Rookie universe.
Sadly, it took so many episodes to get that done, but by the end of the season, it became much more solid.
The format was not new, with it being a spin-off.
Episodes open with a crime beginning to be committed, in progress, or after the fact. Some openers were a hit or a miss but mostly entertaining.
The season premiere introduced the characters and set up the story.
The show had a two-episode back-door pilot in the original,...

Actor Winona Ryder starred in the feature Heathers, which is widely seen as one of her career-defining films. She felt the 2004 feature Mean Girls, however, pulled a lot of influence from her iconic film. And Ryder expected Mean Girls to acknowledge the homage, which she believed it didn’t.

John Nolan’s love life in ABC‘s The Rookie has been nothing short of a rollercoaster since the pilot. He moved to Los Angeles after divorcing the mother of his son, started a relationship with Lucy Chen, which swiftly ended when they began their training, and he went on to date a couple more women before meeting Bailey Nune. And while Nolan and Bailey are engaged in The Rookie Season 5, the signs point toward another breakup for Nathan Fillion’s character.

It's the end of one of the most notable sagas in the show's history.
Rosalind Dyer met her maker on The Rookie Season 5 Episode 4, and while it wasn't at John's hand the way she intended, it's still a shocking development for everyone to wrap their head around.
And Bailey joins the ranks of the other survivors whose lives are forever changed because of Rosalind.
They brought out all the stops with this installment. It was lots of action, explosions, and everything about it gave the impression that it was a midseason finale.
The series brought that type of quality and energy to this installment, and it also utilized nearly all the characters so well and had you cheering them on from the opening credits to the end ones.
Rosalind could've been doing literally anything else in the world after she escaped. The world was her oyster; she could've gone on...

Colton Haynes plays a despicable set of twins in this ripped-from-headlines movie that aims to give The Tindler Swindler a run for the money.
When Louisa (Gabrielle Graham) meets Steve, she’s in awe of his charm, money, and philanthropic endeavors, which seemingly make him a special guy.
Of course, Steve isn’t everything he seems, and just how far he’ll pull Louisa down before she comes out fighting is worth the watch.
Sunday, October 16
8/7c Chesapeake Shores (Hallmark)
It all comes down to this. Cue the waterworks, guys, because we have to say goodbye to the O’Brien family.

In the tradition of Okja and Hail, Caesar!, writer-producer-director Joanna Hogg has gifted the world with two Tildas in one film. Just shy of Suspiria and Teknolust’s respective triple- and quadruple-Tilda count, The Eternal Daughter uses this device differently than others. Where Bong Joon-ho and the Coens employed such technique for twins and Guadagnino and Hershman-Leeson used it for science fiction and horror, Hogg plays it more subtly: mother and daughter. Or, to boil them into one, an eternal daughter.
We open on Rosalind and Julie—the former giving Swinton’s The Souvenir: Part II gray-haired grandma look and the latter mostly looking like herself, a shorter-haired Joanna Hogg—driving through a sea of fog in the dark, pulling into a Welsh bed and breakfast where they’ll stay for the remainder of the film. It’s a tonal precursor to a movie so fog-laden it makes Sleepy Hollow look clear-eyed.

If there is one thing The Rookie has learned over the years, it's that it can never go wrong with Rosalind Dyer.
They have so much fun with the character that you understand why they never want to let her go. Rosalind's escape on The Rookie Season 5 Episode 1 brought the right kind of momentum to the season opener.
And now, she remains a looming threat over the rest of the season who can appear at any point.
The Rookie is back, and so is the formula that's distinctively theirs from the casual incorporation of humor, some intensity, shocking moments, and some delicious ship teasing.
The hour mainly addressed some of the lingering points from The Rookie Season 4 Episode 22 and laid the foundation for the season.
Only a couple of things came to mind regarding the latter. For Nolan, the hour set up where he would find himself in his career.

While thrown by the news that her former abductor was on the loose, Lucy powered through, eventually saving Tim after their undercover sting went sideways. They eventually wound up back at her place and just as it looked like they were headed under covers of an even juicier kind, their hookup hit a snag with the discovery that Rosalind...

Warning: contains spoilers for Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2.
Fate: The Winx Saga brought The Winx Club into the modern television era with its grounded, edgy live-action take on a magical fairy boarding school. Instead of the Magical Realm, Fate gave us Otherworld, a parallel Earth where magic and magical creatures exist. Fairies rule Otherworld, but they’re not alone within it. Burned Ones and Blood Witches are just two of the magical antagonists we’ve been introduced to.
Fate borrows a lot from the animation it is based on, but it approaches magic in a different way. Fairies are not cutesy, colorful sprites, but essentially regular people who manipulate elements and sprout wings if the situation calls for it. And Blood Witches appear to be entirely different from their animated counterparts. In The Winx Club, witches are a magical species that exist alongside fairies. Warning: contains spoilers for the Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 finale.
Everything is different in season two of Fate: The Winx Saga, but what remains the same is Bloom’s search for answers about who she is. Things have changed for the worse at Alfea. After Ms. Dowling’s “disappearance,” former headmistress Rosalind returns to run the school like a military boot camp. Meanwhile, scrapers are unleashed by Blood Witches to steal magic from fairies. While Alfea adapts to its new reality, Bloom and her friends look for ways to restore the Alfea they love, and stop the new threat.
This season, the Suitemates find friendship, love, and themselves. Aisha has her first boyfriend, first kiss, and first heartbreak with a Specialist named Gray, who turns out to be the enemy. Terra gets over her unrequited crush on Dane, and realizes she goes after unattainable boys because she actually liked girls.

When Abigail Cowen first read the script for Netflix’s “Fate: The Winx Saga,” she knew it was special. The show involved teenage fairies, attending a private boarding school. But while the series had that magic supernatural twist, its group of high schoolers had relatable insecurities and struggles with growing up and finding who you are.
“I was like, ‘This is actually kind of synonymous with embracing what makes you different, and really finding the love in that,’” Cowen said when we sat down with her for an exclusive TheWrap Studio photoshoot and interview. “And when you do embrace what makes you different, then your magic flourishes.”
For Cowen, she began exploring her own special power – as an actor – as a youngster growing up in Florida. Her earliest professional acting jobs came out of the scene in Orlando, including a commercial at just 12 years old that put her over the...

“The film possessed me.”
That is how Tilda Swinton described how she came to star in “The Eternal Daughter,” her third pairing with director Joanna Hogg, and a sequel to their two previous collaborations, “The Souvenir” and “The Souvenir: Part II.”
The actress’ choice of words is fitting, since the new film is a ghostly, mysterious tale of a filmmaker, Julie, who’s caring for her elderly mother, Rosalind, in their family’s grand home in the country. Swinton reprises her “Souvenir” role as Rosalind and also takes on the role of Julie, who was played in the previous movies by Swinton’s own daughter Honor Swinton Byrne.
During a visit to TheWrap and Shutterstock’s Interview and Portrait Studio at the Toronto Film Festival, Swinton and Hogg discussed “The Eternal Daughter” with TheWrap’s Editor in Chief, Sharon Waxman, explaining that the idea for the film came from a deeply personal place.

Joanna Hogg concludes the story she began with "The Souvenir," and continued in "The Souvenir Part II", with the spooky "The Eternal Daughter." To be clear: this isn't quite a sequel to those films. But at the same time, it is. "The Souvenir" films were autobiographical works in which Honor Swinton Byrne, daughter of Tilda Swinton, played Julie, a fictionalized version of Hogg, while Swinton played Rosalind, a version of Hogg's mother. Now, with "The Eternal Daughter," Swinton is back and pulling double duty — she's playing both Julie and Rosalind this time ("The Souvenir" films were set in the 1980s, while "The Eternal Daughter" is set in the present, which explains while the Julie character is older now).
Once again, Hogg is getting personal. Instead of making a movie about herself, here, she's making a movie about her mother. Sort of. More accurately, she's interrogating herself and asking the question:...

The phrase “Joanna Hogg’s Shutter Island” is not a line that many critics expect to bust out in their lifetimes, but with her sixth feature the British director has made a fascinating foray into genre cinema that, while firmly in keeping with the rest of her quasi-autobiographical works, makes a surprising departure from the upper-middle-class realism of her signature film The Souvenir.
Venice competition entry The Eternal Daughter stays very much in the same social milieu, and reunites Hogg with Tilda Swinton in a dual role, but there is also a tremendous sense of unease here, whether one sees it as a spooky story about a woman’s search for self or what it’s like to book a staycation in the UK these days.

After the success of her paired portrait-of-the-artist features The Souvenir and The Souvenir Part II, British writer-director Joanna Hogg takes a stylistic swerve with The Eternal Daughter, a melancholy winter’s tale with horror elements.
It’s effectively a third chapter in the Souvenir story, one that jumps into the present day after the 1980s setting of Part II. This time, Tilda Swinton takes over the role of Hogg’s fictional avatar Julie (originally played by Swinton’s daughter, Honor Swinton Byrne) and also reprises the role of Julie’s contained, genteel mother Rosalind, affording the actor a chance to indulge her enthusiasm for complex hair and make-up disguises. The two women travel to a remote hotel in Wales for a sentimental journey, one that stirs up both happy and unhappy memories. In the end, it plays a little too often like an...

The subject of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, one of the topics of discussion at the Venice Film Festival, bubbled to the surface again on Tuesday with Oscar-winning British actress Tilda Swinton making a statement with her hair dyed yellow, reports ‘Variety’.
“It’s my honor to wear half of the Ukrainian flag,” Swinton said at the press conference for Joanna Hogg’s ‘The Eternal Daughter’, when complimented on her look by a journalist. The star wore a light blue top, which complements the dark blue of the Ukraine flag.
Shot during lockdown, ‘The Eternal Daughter’ follows an artist and her elderly mother who confront long-buried secrets when they return to a former family home, now a hotel haunted by its mysterious past, notes ‘Variety’.

At a critical moment towards the end of Joanna Hogg’s magnificent “The Souvenir Part II” — the second and supposedly final portion of her self-portrait of an artist — the director’s young avatar is overcome by her frustrations with the student film she’s trying to make (itself an autobiographical story called “The Souvenir”). “I don’t want to see life as it was,” she stresses, “I want to see life as I imagine it to be.” As played by Honor Swinton Byrne, the hurting but headstrong Julie Hart eventually finds a way to do just that, a breakthrough that allows Hogg’s self-reflexive memoir of a movie to follow suit.
Satisfied that she had committed the ecstatic truth of her own story to celluloid in a way that seemed more honest to her than her memories, Hogg apparently decided to see if she could work the same magic on someone else: Her mother.

A mysterious nighttime mist swirls through Joanna Hogg’s sorrowful, secluded “The Eternal Daughter.” It is pumped, in artificial, Hammer-horror puffs and plumes, across groves and gravel driveways. It snakes around gables topped with gargoyles, snags on hedges, rubs against dark, staring, possibly haunted windows. It shrouds the film the way the unspoken words, undefined guilt and unfulfilled duties that exist between maybe every mother and daughter can cloud the truth of their fraught, primal connection. And it is this grave film’s most apposite motif, in being beautiful and mood-making but vaporous: try to grasp it and your hand closes on nothing but a faint, damp chill.
Filmmaker Julie (Tilda Swinton), her aging mother Rosalind (Tilda Swinton) and Rosalind’s dog Louis (Tilda Swinton’s dog Louis) arrive in a white cab one foggy night at the remote Welsh hotel that Julie has booked for a stay over Rosalind’s December birthday.

Tilda Swinton is back on the Lido, this time with director Joanna Hogg’s Venice competition title The Eternal Daughter.
The ghost story charts the tale of a middle-aged daughter and her elderly mother (both played by Swinton) who must confront long-buried secrets when they return to their former family home, a once-grand manor that has become a nearly vacant hotel.
Shot in secret in Wales during lockdown, the project re-teams long-time friends Swinton and Hogg after the recent Souvenir films.

Swinton, sporting a shock of hair dyed a bright yellow — “It’s my honor to wear half of the Ukrainian flag,” she commented — said playing dual roles wasn’t the plan from the start. Rather, it was borne out of conversations that followed The Souvenir movies in which she played mother to her own real-life daughter. The mother and daughter characters in Eternal Daughter are likewise named Rosalind and Julie.
