Shiloh Fernandez was among the actors considered for the role of Edward Cullen. According to Catherine Hardwicke, we wanted someone who had just a little bit of the bad boy in him, and Fernandez seemed to fit that description. However, he eventually conceded that he wasn’t right for the part and that audition nerves affected his chemistry with Kristen Stewart. Meanwhile, Ben Barnes, known for his roles in The Chronicles of Narnia series, was also on the shortlist for Edward. His scheduling conflicts with Narnia were a primary reason audiences never saw him as the brooding vampire. Barnes once admitted,...

Daniel Brühl made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as a reimagined take on Baron Zemo in Captain America: Civil War, before returning for the Disney+ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
Already a somewhat sympathetic villain given everything he went through in Sokovia during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Zemo put his differences with Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson aside in Tfatws to help them put a stop to the Flag Smashers - though he always had his own schemes in play.
Last we saw of him, he had agreed to return to The Raft to finish out his sentence for killing King T'Chaka in an attempt to frame Barnes for a terrorist attack.
When a Thunderbolts (since retitled Thunderbolts*) movie was announced, it was assumed that Zemo would be involved since he is so closely associated with the supervillain strike team in the comics. Marvel Studios went in a different direction,...

In the Season 5 finale of “FBI: Most Wanted,” agent Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) marries girlfriend Cora (Caroline Harris) in the first wedding for the series’ history.
After mad bombers, a cannibalistic serial killer and Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) getting shot in the line of duty, the season ended on a high — and very jubilant — note.
Hodge spoke with TheWrap about why he loves the Ray and Cora relationship, how it changes his dynamic as a character and his own upcoming wedding.
TheWrap: It’s the first wedding in “FBI: Most Wanted” history.
Edwin Hodge: No pressure. Yeah, no pressure at all. Especially since I’m about to get married on June 29. And my TV wife (Caroline Harris) got married prior to us actually filming the wedding scene.
Are you going to have a big contingent of your costars at your wedding?
Keisha [Castle-hughes] is going to be able to make it.

On Halloween of 2022, it was announced that Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller would be developing a Friday the 13th series called Crystal Lake for A24 and the Peacock streaming service. The lengthy writers strike slowed down the progress of the show – but now that the strike is over, Crystal Lake is probably getting back on track, and since Friday the 13th has come back around on the calendar, we thought this would be a good time for us to share Everything We Know About Crystal Lake!
May 2024 Update: Well, we’re back to the drawing board, because A24 has decided to “go a different way” with the material, moving ahead with Crystal Lake without the involvement of Bryan Fuller. The search for a new showrunner is underway. So for right now, it could be said that we don’t know anything about what Crystal Lake will be. We only have an...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 Episode 8 “Supply Chain.”] FBI: Most Wanted goes home with Nina (Shantel VanSanten) in the latest episode, and that means a mini-crossover with FBI, with John Boyd appearing as Stuart Scola. To say there’s tension would be an understatement. The episode begins with the two arguing about parenting styles—specifically, he thinks she’s going overboard with all the stuff she has for Dougie since he can’t find his shoes in the morning, while she thinks she’s just prepared. “You’re like obsessed with being some kind of perfect mother,” he says. Nina confides in Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) and admits she knows that since she didn’t have a mom growing up, she’s just doing the best she can without an example to follow. Barnes points out that she and Scola are lucky to have each other and recommends not taking that for granted.

Oliver Stone is more than just a filmmaker. The man enlisted in the United States Army during the time of the Vietnam War and when he returned, he decided to tell the harrowing stories of war through the art of filmmaking. His 1986 film Platoon starring was one such film, but it could’ve ended up looking a bit different if actors like Keanu Reeves and Kevin Costner had agreed to be a part of it.

Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes made his MCU debut in Joe Johnston-directed 2011 movie Captain America: The First Avenger starring Chris Evans in the lead. Fans were curious about what was in store for the Winter Soldier when Sebastian Stan’s character, Bucky Barnes, was prominently absent from the recent announcement of Julius Onah’s Captain America 4. However, a new theory suggests that his absence from the upcoming flick may allow Bucky Barnes to fully embrace his Wakandan superhero identity.
Despite the disappointment that Bucky was left out of Captain America: Brave New World, the decision actually makes sense. Well, Captain America 4 perfectly justifies his absence, as he moves from a supporting role to a more significant one (White Wolf) in Thunderbolts.

Bucky Barnes has spent more than a decade in the MCU, but aside from becoming the Winter Soldier and ultimately breaking free from Hydra’s hold, he has not undergone much growth.

Captain America: Brave New World is going to be released on February 14, 2025, as things stand now as one of the first movies of the MCU’s Phase Five. Art holds the power of transporting people back to the past without the help of a time machine. Therefore, it is quite understandable why people give out millions and millions of dollars to acquire and keep some of these beautiful pieces of history for themselves. However, not many are as lucky as Eddie Murphy when it comes to purchasing art.

Death metal vets Six Feet Under have announced a new album, Killing for Revenge, arriving May 10th via Metal Blade Records. The opening track “Know-Nothing Ingrate” can be streamed now, offering a vicious tease of the full album to come.
Gut-punching rhythms blast away as frontman Chris Barnes spews misanthropy through coarse guttural vocals. It’s a smothering three minutes of frenetic death metal, which shouldn’t surprise anyone whose familiar with the band’s 30-plus years of output.
“I chose the title Killing for Revenge after we completed writing and noticed that all the lyrics and storylines had a common theme of revenge,” Barnes said of the LP in a press release. “Revenge by human or revenge by nature. The album title describes the flow of the stories within the lyrics perfectly.”

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 Episode 4 “Hollow.”] FBI: Most Wanted gave us two reasons to want to not watch what was playing out on the screen with the latest episode: what the serial killer was doing with the organs he took from his victims and what awaited Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) when she got home. Sure, the latter wasn’t bloody or tragic, but considering we love Barnes and her wife Charlotte (Fedna Jacquet) together, it wasn’t good! At the beginning of the episode, Charlotte’s heading out of town for a trial, and the conversation turns to the anniversary Barnes missed due to work. The two obviously need to reconnect, but then a call about a case comes in. As Barnes sees it, it’s the life they chose. Charlotte doesn’t exactly agree. Then, when Barnes gets home, she finds Charlotte waiting in the dark. The kids are with ...

Meanwhile, Barnes struggles to find time to bond with her wife, Charlotte (Fedna Jacquet). And something tells us this case won’t make that any easier. Below, Sternberg previews the challenges to come. The job is taking a toll on Barnes’ marriage. How would you describe Barnes and Charlotte’s relationship at this point?
