Jo Güstin was born on June 4, 1987 in Douala, Cameroon. She is an intersectionality writer, creator and producer. She celebrates Black and queer joy and creativity using storytelling and comedy. After Cameroon, France, Germany and Japan, the multilingual novelist behind 9 Histoires lumineuses où le bien est le mal (2017) and Ah Sissi, il faut souffrir pour être française ! (2019) now lives in Canada. Her comedic influences are Michael Schur, Louis CK and Alexandre Astier. Jo Güstin graduated from HEC Paris and she is an adept of the karaoke religion.
