Caitlyn Jenner recently came under fire for celebrating the death of former NFL player Oj Simpson, who died at the age of 76, following his battle with prostate cancer. Calling Simpson’s heartbreaking demise “good riddance”, Jenner attracted some heat from netizens who then began reminding the former Olympian of her fatal car accident from 2015.

As many fans began calling out Caitlyn Jenner for her insensitivity and hypocrisy by pointing out her own involvement in a car accident that killed Kimberly Howe in 2015, Jenner tried justifying her celebration of Oj Simpson’s death. Defending her actions and trying to argue about the significant difference between a tragic accident and a cold-blooded murder, Jenner sparked further controversies.

Zack Snyder’s Snyderverse still has immaculate domination and an astonishing fanbase with leading heroes, including Superman star Henry Cavill and Batman actor Ben Affleck. Certainly, Snyderverse was much darker going to the extent of his own vision of creating a DC Universe that might not be digestible for many fans.

The reign of Snyder and his Snyderverse is over, and it is unlikely that the director is coming back to DC anytime soon. But while reflecting on his DC characters, the director who has Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver slated for Netflix release this year, revealed that he has no regret in throwing Batman and Superman into one tough spot.

Gather all your friends. Platonic is headed back to Apple TV + for Season 2.
In some ways, Platonic Season 1 felt like a limited series, but we're excited to have more time with Will, Sylvia, Charlie, and the other characters.
Platonic filled us with lots of drama and laughter, mainly because Rose Bryne and Seth Rogan worked together previously on the comedic film "Neighbors" along with creators and writers Francesca Delbanco and Nicholas Stoller.
Let's hope the second season is as successful as the first one.
While the second season may be a ways off, let's discuss possible release dates, Season 2 plot lines, cast, and everything we know so far.
Has Platonic Been Renewed?
Apple TV + renewed Platonic for Season 2 in December 2023. While the buddy comedy was initially planned as a limited series, it attracted a large following.
Co-creators Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco commented, "We're so thrilled to have the opportunity...

Joe Rogan Slams ‘The View’ as ‘Rabies-Infested Hen House’: ‘It Is the Show That People Love to Hate’
Joe Rogan has some choice words for TV’s most-watched daytime talk show.
In a new episode of his “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, the host bonded with author and journalist Coleman Hughes over the latter’s tense appearance on “The View.”
“It is the show that people love to hate,” Rogan said. “They get so much hate-watching … and viral clips of them saying ridiculous things. It is a rabies-infested hen house.”
Hughes visited “The View” on March 28 to promote his book “The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America” and sparred with Sunny Hostin over racial politics and how to best address poverty in America. Hughes and Hostin disagreed over Martin Luther King Jr.’s arguments in his 1964 book “Why We Can’t Wait,” and whether policy should be targeted toward socioeconomic status versus race.

A few weeks ago, Zack Snyder raised the ire of Batman fanatics when, in an interview with Joe Rogan, he explained his resistance to The Dark Knight’s “no kill rule”. As he told Rogan, “Batman can’t kill is canon. And I’m like, ‘Okay, the first thing I wanna do when you say that is I wanna see what happens.’ And they go, ‘well don’t put him in a situation where he has to kill someone’.” He continued, “you’re protecting your god in a weird way, right? You’re making your god irrelevant if he can’t be in that situation. He has to now deal with that. If he does do that what does that mean? What does it tell you, does he stand up to it? Does he survive that as a god? As your god, can Batman survive that?”

Joe Rogan is one of the most famous names in the podcasting business and often gets into the spotlight because of the raw and unfiltered nature of his show the Joe Rogan Experience. The Joe Rogan Experience was the top podcast of the year globally in 2023, marking its fourth consecutive year in that position, according to Spotify Wrapped data released Wednesday.
Wrapped, which analyzes listening data in 2023 about the most-streamed artists and podcasts on the platform, also saw Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy (which, like Joe Rogan’s, is exclusive to Spotify) retain its second place spot on the global list, while Dr. Andrew Huberman’s science podcast, Huberman Lab, jumped to third. Emma Chamberlain’s podcast, Anything Goes, which became exclusive to Spotify in 2023 and placed third last year, came in fourth. On Purpose with Jay Shetty, which recently inked an ad sales deal with iHeartMedia, rounded out the global list in fifth place.

In my time working at a bookstore in Princeton, NJ, I weathered three Walter Isaacson releases: “Do we have more Musk downstairs?” These glossy bricks appeared every two to three years, addressing generic and totemic enough subjects to make reasonably anonymous holiday gifts. I mention Princeton only to speak to a specific slice of Isaac’s demographic, which is to say, university people for whom “genius” means “successful in a non-partisan way.” The town—like the author, perhaps—has good literary intentions that go awry when the moneyed attentions show up; as if “success” is any indication of relative worth, as if a biography of Kissinger could be non-partisan.
That these framings might be mutually profitable as Hollywood’s biopicking—see Steve Jobs (2015)—is a basically foregone conclusion. They reproduce the Exceptional Man narrative while maintaining enough researched temperance so as to not appear solely an endorsement. They read their subjects,...

All right, perhaps this unifying theme for the 2023 Summer movie season is nostalgia. Sure, the multiplex is usually filled with sequels and reboots this time of year, but at this moment the studios appear to be trying to exploit the treasured properties of our youth, over several different generations. Last weekend it was a beloved ride/attraction which has been a staple at the happiest place(s) on Earth for over fifty years. However the box office (and WB record-breaker) for the last couple of weeks stretches back another ten years to engulf theatre lobbies in a title wave of pink (“This Barbie’s gonna’ bust a billion bucks at the box office”). Now, this Wednesday’s (gettin’ a jump on the weekend) new release also has a toy connection, but that merch arrived well after the characters’ comic book debut in 1984 (which spawned a TV cartoon a couple of years later). Oh,...

Threads, a brand-new social app from Instagram that bears more than a passing resemblance to Twitter, has already pulled in a massive user base, notching 50 million signups just a day after launch. The Silicon Valley shakeup is exacerbating tensions between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, with attorneys for the former already arguing that Instagram parent Meta hired “dozens” of former Twitter employees and “misappropriated” its trade secrets to develop the rival app.

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has once again thrust himself in the spotlight by reiterating his accusation against the CIA.
Last month, he said in an interview with John Catsimatidis that “the CIA was involved in the murder” of his uncle, the late President John F. Kennedy.
In a new interview with Joe Rogan, Rogan asked the environmental lawyer what he thinks will happen when he gets into office concerning his controversial claims against the CIA.
Without missing a beat, Kennedy said that he must be “careful” and is “aware of that danger.”
“I don’t live in fear of it at all,” he continued. “I’m not stupid about it. I take precautions.”
In addition to his uncle, his father, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, was also assassinated.
In 2021, Kennedy was banned from Instagram due to his constant posting of “debunked claims about the coronavirus or vaccines.” Last year,...

Edison Podcast Metrics, the comprehensive measurement of podcast listening in the U.S. from Edison Research, is being launched in the UK. The announcement was made at the Podcast Show 2023 in London.
Edison Podcast Metrics is unique in that it is not dependent on podcast download data nor is it a service which podcast networks must opt into. Thousands of weekly podcast listeners are surveyed each quarter for the service, and listening behaviour is collected regardless of listening platform. Edison Research, the top podcast research company in the world, first released its Top Podcast Shows ranker in the U.S. in November 2019; the company has been tracking podcast consumption in the aggregate since 2006. The U.S. data is used by many of the biggest podcasting companies and advertising agencies.

National treasure Dolly Parton might be an honorary godmother to Miley Cyrus, but don’t expect her to eat “much of anything” the “Flowers” singer cooks. According to Parton, the two stars have vastly different tastes in food, and that’s because Cyrus has tried a few diets that leave “good ol’ food like meatloaf” off the menu of options.

“Even if she cooked me something, I’m sure I’d have to doctor it up a little for myself,” she added. “I would have to have some bacon grease.

Controversial podcast host Joe Rogan is once again receiving backlash, this time for comments that critics have labelled “antisemitic”.
The Joe Rogan Experience host was discussing US Representative Ilhan Omar with his guests, Breaking Points co-hosts Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti, during a recent episode when he made the offending statements.
Omar was recently removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee by Republicans over accusations that she is antisemitic.
In 2019, she tweeted that Republicans wanted to condemn her comments about Israel because “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby”, a reference to Benjamin Franklin being on 100 bills. She later apologised for her comments.
“That’s not an antisemitic comment, I don’t think that is. Benjamins are money,” Rogan said on his podcast.
He continued: “The idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza. It’s f***ing stupid.”

No stranger to controversy, Joe Rogan this week offered the following generalization about Jews on his massively popular Spotify show: “The idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza.”
Rogan was speaking to onetime MSNBC contributor Krystal Ball about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s 2019 tweet that Israel’s defenders in the U.S. were motivated solely by money.
“It’s all about the Benjamins baby,” wrote Omar at the time. The tweet drew a swift rebuke from leaders on both sides of the aisle, including then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Omar later recanted, writing, “I unequivocally apologize.”
The Spotify host’s statements this week were part of a conversation about Rep. Adam Schiff.
“It’s crazy,” said Rogan. “Did you see him sitting next to Ilhan Omar, where she’s apologizing for talking about it’s all about the Benjamins?...

Seth Rogen has described a “bizarre” meeting he had with Tom Cruise, in which the actor allegedly tried to convince him of the merits of Scientology.
In an interview on Howard Stern’s radio show, Rogen recounted some of the stranger Hollywood experiences documented in his forthcoming book of essays, Yearbook, including a trip to Cruise’s house around 2006.
The actor began what he called his “bizarre” story by explaining that approximately 15 years ago, at the “peak” of Cruise “mania”, he and film director Judd Apatow were invited to visit the actor’s Los Angeles home to talk about films.
The visit took place shortly after the birth of Cruise and his then-wife Katie Holmes’s daughter, Suri. Rogen said he thought Holmes “had a vague ‘please rescue me from this place’ look on her face”.

Greenbay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed that back in August 2021, he misled the media at a press conference when asked about his Covid vaccination status.
Rodgers appeared on Saturday’s episode of the highly controversial podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
During the episode, Rodgers admitted that he “chose not to get vaxxed” and said that he has an allergy to an ingredient in the vaccines.
The quarterback explained to Rogan, “I’d been ready the entire time for this [vaccine] question and had thought about how I wanted to answer it. And I had come to the conclusion I’m going to say: ‘I’ve been immunized.’ And if there’s a follow up, then talk about my process.”
Rodgers admitted that he chose the relatively vague word so that he could lie by omission.

Aaron Rodgers is opening up about his controversial refusal to get vaccinated for Covid-19 in an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience”.
During the conversation, Rodgers revealed that when he initially claimed to have been “immunized.” he used that specific word in order to be intentionally misleading.
“They were doing this, I called it a witch hunt, where they were asking every single player ‘are you vaccinated?’ You know, they were asking a bunch of big quarterbacks and some guys were saying, ‘it’s personal’ or whatever. They didn’t want to talk about their status and it almost guaranteed you weren’t vaccinated, right? So then they were getting ripped,” Rodgers told Rogan.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent nearly three hours on The Joe Rogan Experience yesterday, mostly answering questions about virtual reality, content moderation, censorship and government oversight. Much of the media coverage has centered on communications between the FBI and Meta about the Hunter Biden laptop story.
But in another part of the conversation, Zuckerberg offered a sunny take on his company’s Instagram platform, which has come under increased criticism in the past year since Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen went public with her concerns about the impact that the company’s products are having on Americans.
“I think Instagram is a super positive space,” Zuckerberg told Rogan. “I think some of the critiques we get there is that it’s very curated and potentially, in some ways, overly positive…It’s easy to spend time there, and kind of absorb a lot of the positivity.”
That assessment stands directly opposite...

The Duchess of Sussex has beaten Joe Rogan for the Number One spot on Spotify’s US podcast rankings.
On the first episode of her new show Archetypes, Meghan Markle interviewed tennis great Serena Williams, who was also a guest at Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
The hour-long episode also reached the top spot in the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand Spotify podcast charts.
Rogan, who hosts The Joe Rogan Experience, has largely dominated the rankings since 2020, when he moved his show exclusively onto the streaming platform. His series has come under increased scrutiny for spreading misinformation about the Covid-19 virus and the helpfulness of alternative remedies, though Rogan claims the controversy actually helped him to gain subscribers.

Meghan Markle’s new Archetypes is currently Spotify’s most-listened-to podcast in six countries, overtaking usual U.S. frontrunner The Joe Rogan Experience.
On today’s U.S. Spotify chart, Archetypes outpaced both Rogan and the #3 entry The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon. Markle’s series also topped the Spotify UK charts, as well as for Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Archetypes debuted Tuesday exclusively on Spotify, with tennis powerhouse Serena Williams as the new series’ inaugural guest. Produced by Archewell Audio in partnership with Spotify’s Gimlet Media, Archetypes arrived nearly two years after Markle and husband Prince Harry, under their Archewell Audio banner, signed an exclusive multiyear deal with Spotify. Next week’s episode will feature an interview with Mariah Carey.

The incredible life and death story of John McAfee — who passed away in 2021 — is getting the feature doc treatment at Netflix.
The streamer has ordered Running With The Devil: The Wild World of John McAfee from London-based Curious Films, marking their Netflix debut.
The original computer genius gone rogue, McAfee famously invented of one of the most successful — and hated — pieces of software of all time with the McAfee Anti-Virus. At his peak, he was worth 100 million. But when his neighbor was murdered, he went on the run — cashed in his fortune, left civilization and moved to the jungle in Belize, where he set up a Colonel Kurtz-like compound of guns, sex and madness. But he invited a film crew to join him.

Crosby, Stills and Nash apparently aren’t giving us just a song before they go. That’s because they’ve decided to return to Spotify, ending a boycott of the streamer that began in February in protest of podcaster Joe Rogan’s content.
Billboard reported.the return of the group’s music as of Saturday. David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash originally announced they were leaving the streaming service, joining ex-bandmate Neil Young and others. The boycotts concerned Rogan’s podcast guests, some of whom promoted theories on the pandemic that were counter to the official narrative.
A joint statement issued by the group at the time said they agreed with Young’s concerns of Rogan spreading “dangerous disinformation” about the Covid-19 pandemic through his podcast.
“While we always value alternate points of view, knowingly spreading disinformation during this global pandemic has deadly consequences,” the band wrote. “Until real...

You’ve heard of a heart-healthy diet? Coming soon, there will be a Hart-healthy restaurant to indulge.
Eater Los Angeles reports that actor/comedian Kevin Hart will soon open two plant-based restaurants called Hart House. The first Hart House will open this summer, locations to be announced, although one will be in Hollywood. The menu will reportedly feature vegan burgers, “chicken” sandwiches and nuggets, fries, tots, salads, and milkshakes.
Hart revealed his plant-based diet in a recent Joe Rogan podcast, claiming his near-death experience in an accident prompted him to lead a healthier life. That includes abstaining rom red meat, fish and any seafood.
“Just because you make the decision to go and try plant-based, doesn’t mean you have to [ be engulfed] in that world,” Hart told Rogan. “Learn it, understand it, and see if there are benefits that work for you.”
Hart House is being created with restauranteur Andy Hooper.
