But is this really a case of credit card fraud? “Mom, your card is gonna be unusable for one or two days,” Jackie tells Bev seriously in the sneak peek clip, above. “Somebody bought puppies, sponsored orphans, signed up for a timeshare, and donated to some sketchy organization that’s had four documentaries about it,” Jackie adds, holding up four fingers for emphasis. Joey Graziadei might not have won Charity Lawson‘s final rose on Monday’s (August 21) Bachelorette finale, but he did earn a spot as The Bachelor‘s next leading man. The 28-year-old professional tennis player from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, was one of the two Bachelorette finalists competing for Lawson’s hand in marriage. Despite Graziadei’s connection with Lawson, the leading lady ultimately chose Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist from Brooklyn, New York. “I see you as my husband. I see it so clearly. I don’t have any doubts,” Lawson told Olubeko during the final rose ceremony. Olubeko then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, to which Lawson responded, “A million times yes.” ABC/Christopher Willard When host Jesse Palmer brought out Lawson and Graziadei for a post-relationship breakdown, the latter was all smiles and seemed positively upbeat even though things didn’t work out.

You can buy vowels, but you can’t buy the kind of support Vanna White is getting from Wheel of Fortune fans as Sony Pictures Television execs reportedly weigh her future on the long-running game show. Last week, Puck News reported (per Parade) that White is negotiating her Wheel of Fortune contract ahead of host Pat Sajak’s imminent departure and that she has hired celebrity litigator Bryan Freedman, who is pushing for White’s first raise in 18 years. The site also reported that White makes about $3 million a year for her role on the show and that Sajak makes nearly five times that amount. And Freedman is “hitting the pay discrepancy issue hard with Sony, as well as possible gender discrimination with respect to White’s salary,” Puck News added. Christopher Willard/ABC But Sony executives have proposed eliminating White’s position, according to Puck News, and that chatter has fans’ head spinning.

On April 1, 1963, ABC‘s newest soap opera General Hospital debuted. Frank and Doris Hursley, famous soap opera writers created the series. The couple previously worked on the CBS drama Search for Tomorrow before breaking out on their own.

The Bachelor Zach Shallcross finally chose the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And it’s not Gabi Elnicki. In a dramatic finale, Zach told Gabi he was “falling in love with her” after sharing their intimate behind-closed-doors moment with the world. Then he proposed to Kaity Biggar. Gabi was visibly upset. She later appeared on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose wearing what many are comparing to Princess Diana’s “revenge dress.”

General Hospital character Maxie Jones is pretty resilient. Her portrayer, Kirsten Storms, is no different. Maxie has been put through the wringer on the soap.
When she was a young girl, she survived a heart transplant. She has an absent father, and her mother wasn’t around much as she grew up. Maxie’s sister and husband were both murdered. She delivered one baby on the side of the road, and another in the woods. Most recently, her fiancé and the father of her youngest daughter turned out to be a psychotic killer.
Storms has also been through some turmoil and is standing strong.
