In spite of the fact that the fans are generally against everything Disney does with Star Wars, the first season of The Mandalorian on the company’s new streaming platform quickly became an exception to the rule and brought a sense of unanimity back to the divided fandom of a galaxy far, far away.
Indeed, the story of the lonesome Mandalorian bounty hunter, Din Djarin, and his cute 50-year-old sidekick, who’s commonly referred to by the folks on the internet as Baby Yoda, turned out to be an instant hit with everyone, even people who weren’t necessarily long-time Star Wars fans. And yes, we could name Jon Favreau’s storytelling skills and the series’ production values as some of the main reasons that fed the overwhelming popularity of The Mandalorian. But at the end of the day, we all know Disney owes this immense success to the cuteness of Baby Yoda.

If you thought "Angry Birds Space" was the final frontier for those feathered pig hunters, think again. "Angry Birds Star Wars" blasts off on Nov. 8 and will be available for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone and Windows 8.
"This is the best Angry Birds game we've ever done," Peter Vesterbacka, Cmo of Rovio Entertainment, which partnered up with LucasFilm for the new game, says in a statement. "It's the best parts of Angry Birds with all new cutting-edge gameplay set in in a galaxy far, far away. As a big 'Star Wars' fan myself, I'm really excited about this new universe. The Force is definitely strong with this one."
But don't just expect the birds and pigs to be wearing "Star Wars" costumes.
"They are not Angry Birds dressed up as Star Wars characters," Paul Southern, vice president of licensing and consumer products marketing for Lucasfilm Ltd.

Rovio has created a Star Wars version of its popular game along with a branded version of Jenga and plush toys
If you think you've already seen all the Angry Birds brand extensions you're even likely to, you're wrong. There is another.
Due to be announced at the Times Square branch of Toys-r-Us later today, but now exploding all over the internet, Angry Birds Star Wars is a forthcoming themed version of the hit physics-based catapult game.
The game will be based around the Angry Birds Space version of the title, with the birds replaced by Rebel Alliance stars like Luke, Han, Ben Kenobi and Leia, while the stormtrooper pigs will be marshalled by a suitably porcine version of Darth Vader. The planets, of course, will be recognisable worlds from the Star Wars universe, including Tatooine and icy Hoth. The famous John Williams score has also been re-worked for the title.
