Daniel Neal Ard was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho, to Tiffany Paepke, a registered nurse, and Neal Ard, a mail carrier. He attended Madison High School and graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication.
While at Brigham Young University - Idaho, he produced the short film Yarrow's Boy (2013), the feature film The Haunted Swing (2013), and wrote and produced the short film One Door (2014). During this same period, Daniel was a camera operator for the BYU - Idaho A/V Services, director at Soapbox Agency, and later promoted to creative director at Soapbox Agency.
After graduation, he was an associate producer on the documentary Llama Nation (2016) before moving to Utah to pursue a career in web design and development.
