"So what's the deal with the two love birds in the back?" Amber Content has debuted a trailer for a film called Moon Dogs, which won Best International First Feature at Galway Film Fleadh 2016. Moon Dogs is about two teenage step-brothers, Michael and Thor, who take a road trip from Shetland to Glasgow for very different reasons. They're joined by an aspiring Irish singer named Caitlin, and if you can't already guess, things get heated when both boys fall for her. Jack Parry-Jones and Christy O’Donnell star, along with Tara Lee, Chris Donald, Tam Dean Burn, Tanya Franks, Geoffrey Newland, and Shauna Macdonald. This looks like a very odd, spunky, entertaining little coming-of-age film, which was nominated for a BAFTA Scotland last year. Check this out. Here's the official UK trailer (+ poster) for Philip John's Moon Dogs,...

Downton Abbey, Season 4: Episode 5
Directed by Philip John
Written by Julian Fellowes
Airs Sunday nights at 9 Pm Est on PBS
The multitude of relationships, a rigid class system, and the period piece nature of Downton Abbey generate plenty of opportunities for the show to examine prejudice in its various manifestations. Mary’s storylines in particular often follow a pattern Jane Austen readers will recognize and adore. In this episode, yet another man comes into her life, and their first encounters are ripe with misconceptions, but there is little doubt that both parties will come to their senses without much delay and see what suitable partners they would be for each other.
Viewers will also get a chance to reevaluate their assumptions about a few characters this week, while some react in unexpected yet not uncharacteristic ways when challenged with the truth behind their own presumptions. For instance, who ever...

Downton Abbey, Season 4, Episode 4
Directed by Philip John
Written by Julian Fellowes
Airs Sundays on PBS
There are many highs and lows to be counted in this week’s episode of Downton Abbey. While some characters win and others lose, it is a rewarding installment in most regards. It reminds us why we still love the Crawleys even after all their snobbishness. And one of the wittiest highlights of the Downton back-and-forth, the Isabel/Violet rivalry, is renewed with a vengeance.
Robert’s attachment to the past has often been his Achilles’ heel, but this week it turns out to be his saving grace. When his tenant passes away, Robert is moved enough by the loyalty of the family and his sense of tradition to loan the surviving son the money to pay off a longstanding debt even though taking the land for his own would be more beneficial to the family.

We need to talk about what really went on in Being Human’s final moments. Spoilers and theories abound...
This feature contains massive spoilers for the Being Human series five finale. If you've yet to watch it, steer clear.
It was all going so well. The devil had been staked, the gang had become human, and Antiques Roadshow was just about to start on the telly. Then, in a moment of sheer wickedness, Toby Whithouse snatched it all away with a Dutch angle and some Japanese paper folding. After giving Being Human fans precisely the ending they’d asked for (sofa, teapot, humanity, antiques), Whithouse subverted the lot, showing us… well, what exactly did he show us?
Let’s return to the point when the diabolical Captain Hatch led Hal, Alex and Tom through the magical mystery tour of their non-cursed states. Back to...

Summary:
In an old B&B in a sleepy seaside town, we join Annie (Lenora Crichlow) and her housemates Tom (Michael Socha) and Hal (Damien Molony). With a newborn baby to look after, it’s never been more difficult to live life under-the-radar as a ghost, a werewolf, and a vampire. There are also other vampires to deal with: lurking in every corner of society, waiting for the Old Ones, powerful older vampires, to arrive and take over the world with brutal force. Worse yet, there’s a malevolent ghost on the loose and someone’s seeking to expose the existence of werewolves – not to mention all the diapers that need changing.
Ahhhhh. Yes. That’S what I want. It took until the finale to get it just right,...

A computer software developer from Newcastle has received thousands of messages of congratulations on Twitter after being mistaken for singer Pj Harvey. Philip John Harvey's @pjharvey account on the microblogging site was flooded with tweets after Polly Jean Harvey won the Mercury Prize on Tuesday evening. Speaking to BBC News, Phil Harvey said that he was cooking dinner when his phone started alerting him of constant messages of support from other Twitter users. "I was just in my kitchen cooking my dinner when my phone started going off. I have it so it notifies me whenever someone mentions me, which happens quite rarely because I'm just an average guy on Twitter," he said. He quickly realised what was going on and tweeted that he was not the singer Pj Harvey, but the fans did not believe him. "I wasn't (more)...
