When the Dublin outfit Milk started working on their new release, 3, The EP., they found themselves drawn more to acoustic instruments than synthesizers or electric guitars slathered in effects.
“I think that lended itself a lot more to the sound a lot more,” says frontman Mark McKenna on the latest episode of Rolling Stone’s On Your Radar. “And it made it a lot more unique, in a way that it went outside of the writing. It became its own thing eventually.”

We've fallen in love with Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher before, and we're ready to do it again. Both actors are getting back to their romantic-comedy roots with the upcoming Netflix film "Your Place or Mine." The streamer released the full trailer for the movie on Jan. 12, and we're already head over heels for the acting duo.
"Your Place or Mine" is written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna and follows two best friends named Debbie (Witherspoon) and Peter (Kutcher), who decide to switch houses - and lives - and get new perspectives on things. In the trailer, we learn Debbie is a single mom in Los Angeles whose dating life is more like a graveyard. Meanwhile, Peter is a playboy living it up in New York City. The two slept together the first night they met, but their relationship turned into a strong friendship.

Your Place Or Mine Trailer: Reese Witherspoon And Ashton Kutcher Star In The Netflix Romantic Comedy
Got Valentine's Day plans? Then get ready to cancel them! Or, at the very least, make sure to carve out two hours of couch time to bask in the glory of Netflix's star-studded rom-com, "Your Place or Mine," a love story about two best friends who swap houses. Think "The Holiday" minus the, uh, actual holiday. Instead, it follows two people who desperately need a change of setting but, in the process, find themselves stumbling across potential love.
Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher star as longtime friends Debbie and Peter, who met 20 years prior after a memorable night in their young adult lives (*cough* a one night stand *cough*). But that's in the past now and just because they ooze chemistry in their every interaction doesn't mean that they're in love! Anyway, both of these adults already know what they want in life — and it's not each other. Probably.

Friends to lovers is a tried and true romantic comedy trope. But in the trailer for Netflix’s Your Place or Mine, Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon – rom-com royalty, really – flip the script, going from lovers to friends with the potential for something more to bubble to the surface. Arriving on the streaming platform on February 10, the film follows Kutcher’s Peter and Witherspoon’s Debbie as they swap lives for long enough to realize that their emotions are more complicated than they may have realized.

Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher are BFFs with a spark in the latest house-swapping rom-com.
Putting a new twist on a modern trope, “Your Place or Mine” stars Witherspoon as Debbie, the total opposite of her longtime pal Peter (Kutcher). Debbie craves routine with her son in Los Angeles, while Peter thrives on change in New York City. When they swap houses and lives for a week, the duo discovers what they think they want might not be what they really need, per an official synopsis.
“Your Place or Mine” is written and directed by “The Devil Wears Prada” and “27 Dresses” screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna. The cast is rounded out by Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Griffin Matthews, Rachel Bloom, Shiri Appleby, Vella Lovell, Tig Notaro, and Steve Zahn.
Lead star Witherspoon produces the rom-com along with partner Lauren Neustadter, writer-director McKenna, Jason Bateman, and Michael Costigan.
