Chester Aaron was born on 9 May 1923 in Butler, Pennsylvania, USA. He was a writer, known for ABC Weekend Specials (1977). He died on 30 August 2019 in Santa Rosa, California, USA.
Author of mainly children's books (among them An American Ghost (1973)
and Duchess (1982)), he was the son of Russian and Polish Jewish
immigrants and served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945, during which
he participated in the liberation of the Dachau concentration
camp.
