Lorraine C Dow was born July 4, 1921 in East Chicago, IN. In the early 40's during WWII she works with the military procurement division at 3636 Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles. Where she ran into then current and future Hollywood actors. In the late 40's through the 50's she worked as a secretary and junior publicist at MGM Studios in Culver City. Late fifties she worked as an assistant to Hollywood columnists Louisa Parsons. By the sixties she was working as a stock footage film librarian for Universal Studios working on such shows as The Virginian, Men from Shiloh, Toma, The Rockford files, Baretta, Magnum PI, Simon and Simon plus many pilots and movies-of-the-week. She retired in 1984. She passed away on Feb 14, 2004
