Christina Ricci is living her best life on vacation with her partner, celebrity hairdresser Mark Hampton. The Yellowjackets star recently posted loved-up photos of the couple on lounging in Hawaii.
This vacation comes after drama with her ex, James Heerdegen.
Last month, she went on a trip to New York City with her oldest son, Freddie, whom she shares with Heerdegen.
According to Ricci, Heerdegen initially gave her permission to take their son on the trip but then later changed his mind. In response, Ricci requested an emergency court hearing with her ex.
During the hearing, Ricci stated, “Jimmy’s refusal to agree causes me concern because he clearly was being vindictive and retaliatory when he initially refused my request to travel for the additional dates. Christina Ricci has said that being a child actor was an “escape” from her “horrendous” childhood.
Talking about her experience of entering the industry so young – she first became famous for playing Wednesday Addams in 1991’s The Addams Family when she was 11 years old – the actor said: “When I first started, and still as an adult, this career has always been an escape for me.”
She told US publication Entertainment Tonight: “As a kid, it was an escape from, like, a horrendous childhood and just getting to go away – be in hotels and be on set and be with other adults and be valued.
“All the little things that sort of are negative about the industry and the career, they’ve always been things that I’ve just been like, ‘Well, real life is worse.’”
Ricci, 43, has previously alleged that she suffered child abuse from members of her family.

Congratulations to Christina Ricci -- the former "Pan Am" star married her fiance James Heerdegen this weekend.
Ricci tied the knot with Heerdegen on Saturday (Oct. 26), Us Weekly reports. The ceremony was held on the Upper East Side in New York City.
Surrounded by close family and friends at the Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall, the new bride wowed in a Givenchy Haute Couture high neck dress with white beaded long sleeves and a long train with her hair swept to the side in a bun with a veil.
Ricci and Heerdegen have been engaged since February. They first met on the set of her ABC series, "Pan Am," in 2011, as Heerdegen was a dolly grip -- the technician who moves the camera dolly around during shots. Though "Pan Am" was canceled, looks like these two owe a lot to that show -- their relationship.
