- The writers decided that Jaclyn and Vadim's characters Meghan O'Connor and Sebastien Dube would be killed in a plane crash off the coast of the Isle of Wight, England after a tennis tournament. The last show, that was filmed shortly before their deaths, was dedicated to their memory.
- With the agreement of the family it was decided that his death would be mirrored by the death of his character on 15/Love. Sometimes, when a male or female actor dies during production, their character stays alive off-screen, for example, Laura Sadler's character on Holby City. Far from being phony or disrespectful, this is done when the family of the deceased actor does not want their loved one's character to die with them.
- He and his 15/Love co-star Jaclyn Linetsky were killed in a car accident on September 8, 2003. They were on their way to the set of 15/Love in St Cesiare, Québec when their mini-van lost control and slammed head on into a tractor/trailer. They were killed instantly. They were both 17 years old.
- Had four brothers: Niels, Volodia, Aliocha and Vassili.
- Brother of Niels Schneider and Volodia Schneider.
