primarily produced and shot in California. Following a break to study
Italian language and culture in Florence, he returned to Los Angeles to
complete the production program at USC. His student film Zarpa! was
screened in Ann Arbor Film Festival.
He is fluent in three languages and serves as the head of project
development at Califa Productions, LLC. In addition to overseeing
development, Ertug continues his directorial pursuits with the company.
In filmmaking, "the formula" gradually kills creativity, artistry and
eventually the artist's original motivation. If there is one good thing
about "the formulas of filmmaking," it is the inspiration of rebelling
against it.
