Two more “Mad About You” original castmembers are joining Spectrum Originals’ upcoming revival of the Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt-led sitcom.
Anne Ramsay will return as Lisa Stemple, the sister and neighbor of Hunt’s Jamie Stemple-Buchman, while Adler will guest star as apartment building superintendent Mr. Wicker in the first episode.
The revival of the 1990s-era NBC sitcom will debut its first six episodes ad-free on Nov. 20, with the later six dropping on Dec. 18. All episodes are only available to Spectrum (owned by TV and internet provider Charter) customers.

Spectrum Originals has set Wednesday, November 20 for the premiere of Mad About You, the long-in-the-works revival series starring Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt in a reprisal of their original roles. There’s no pilot order yet for the show, about a Wall Street whistleblower who, struggling with his newfound unemployment and lifestyle change, starts robbing banks to make money and save his marriage. Brian Volk-Weiss, Michael Pelmont, and Matt Ochacher will also exec produce for New Wave Entertainment.

Exclusive: NBC is taking a second stab at developing a comedy series based on Life As I Blow It, the book by Chelsea Lately and After Lately writer-panelist Sarah Colonna. Denise Moss (Hackett) has been brought in to write/executive produce the project, originally developed last year with Colonna writing and Danielle Sanchez supervising. Colonna will now co-write the story with Moss, who will write the script. Happy Madison and Sony TV are back producing. Life As I Blow It will focus on the relationship of Colonna and her sister, who are brought together when Colonna loses her job and has to return to Arkansas where her sister’s life is also unraveling. Adding fuel to the fire is the sisters’ differing point of view on life and how Colonna’s nephew should be raised. While Colonna has no deal to star, the project is being developed as a potential starring vehicle for her.

NBC has bought two more single-camera comedy projects: Life As I Blow It, from Chelsea Lately and After Lately writer-panelist Sarah Colonna, and Satellites, a workplace comedy from Weeds writer-producer Stephen Falk. Life As I Blow It is based on Colonna’s upcoming book and follows Colonna and her life in the Midwest surrounded by eccentric friends and family whose opinions and actions know no boundaries. Happy Madison and Sony TV are producing along with Colonna’s management company New Wave Entertainment, Lunch Bag Snail Prods and Universal TV. Colonna will write the script and executive produce with Danielle Sanchez, who will supervise, Doug Robinson, Abbey MacDonald, Michael Pelmont and Brian Volk Weiss. Apa-repped Colonna recently performed on the Comedians of Chelsea Lately tour. Satellites is set in the chaotic world of satellite radio and centers around a former reluctant ’90s boy-band member and a female blogger/podcaster who co-host a relationship call-in show.

Michael Pelmont, a talent manager at New Wave Entertainment for the past three years, has been promoted to head of scripted development and packaging, the company announced Wednesday. Pelmont is a former Wall Street trader who worked in the ICM mailroom while attending UCLA law school. He joined New Wave three years ago from Apa. NBC is partnering with comedian Dan Levy and Jamie Tarses to develop a new comedy to fill the spots of Outsourced and 30 Rock which have been moved to 10 pm. New Wave Entertainment, Tarses' Fan Fare and Sony Pictures Television are partnering with Levy on the deal.
Several Children is about a businesswomen who lives in a houseful of "kids", including her much younger husband, their two children and occasionally her husband's friends.
Levy is a veteran comedian and is best known for Long Distance Relationship which began as his web series but has now been turned into a pilot for MTV. He recently starred in the Comedy Central pilot Let it Ride and is writing an ABC Family movie entitled Stoked.

On the heels of his latest highly rated stand-up special on Comedy Central, Ron White has inked a deal with the network for his own show.
Comedy Central has handed out a pilot presentation order to "The Ron White Show," a half-hour program designed to showcase the blue-collar comedian's opinionated persona.
On the show, which will feature branded segments, remotes and story telling, White will look at stories nationwide, focusing on the heartland, through his everyman perspective.
White created the show with Eddie Feldmann ("Dennis Miller Live"). The two are exec producing with White's manager, John MacDonald, and with Michael Pelmont, Brian Volk-Weiss and Barry Katz of New Wave Entertainment, which manages Feldmann.
White's most recent special, "Behavioral Problems," drew 3.3 million viewers Sunday, ranking as Comedy Central's most-watched stand-up special of the year. His other Comedy Central specials include "You Can't Fix Stupid" and "They Call Me Tater Salad.
