YouTube Original Channel YouOffendMeYouOffendMyFamily (or Yomyomf, for short) has had its share of marquee series, a given when you consider the channel's all-star founders (Ryan Higa, KevJumba, and Justin Lin). With the Presidential election under a month away (where does the time go!), Yomyomf is taking advantage of America's political fervor by hosting Ground Game, a new political comedy from creator Aaron Hilliard. Ground Game centers around a fictional Des Moines mayoral election (that, as several have noted, seems quite real), and follows Gavin, the Campaign Director for Bill Hahn, a well-meaning but bumbling candidate. Along the way, we are introduced to several fun caricatures, including Gavin's beleagued underling, his barely-competent campaign team, and a precocious-but-unqualified internship candidate. The result is a zany and often very funny satire

If you happen to be a provocateurophile - one who takes great amusement from watching people publicly behave like deluded megalomaniacs – then Grass Roots is right up your alley. Created by and starring TV writer and producer Aaron Hilliard, it’s the political lackey/campaigner version of Curb Your Enthusiasm with some of The Office mixed in. With today’s modern technology it’s easy to be your own writer, director, and star, but it’s a much more daunting task to create something people are watching. I suggest lowering your red flags of caution to check out Aaron Hilliard, (Life and Times of Tim, All That) who manages to pull off all aspects of the creative processes effectively with Grass Roots. The show has fun guest appearances from Jerry Minor (Mr. Show, Carpoolers) and Nick Kroll (Sit Down, Shut Up, Life and Times of Tim). The series quickly penned a distribution deal with Koldcast TV, can also be found on Blip.tv, and their official website www.watchgrassroots.com. There are six episodes that run around five minutes each, rolling out on Wednesdays.
