Got a hunka hunka money burning a hole in your pocket and a love for all things Elvis Presley? Then get yourself to Graceland next month for the first-ever auction of the King's personal items to be held at the famed Memphis mansion. Highlights of the Aug. 14 auction include Presley's first-known signature - on a Tupelo, Mississippi, school library card - a handwritten set list from 1969 and jewelry, like the beloved lion's head pendant he wore while meeting President Richard Nixon. Although Priscilla Presley previewed the auction Tuesday on Today, she made it clear the items do not belong...

It was too good to last forever. After 21 years together, three of four original members of Australian kid-focused band The Wiggles are leaving to pursue other projects or, as they claim, "spend more time with their families."
In a statement posted to the band's official website, Jeff Fatt (Purple Wiggle), Murray Cook (Red Wiggle) and Greg Page (Yellow Wiggle) announced their intention to stop touring and hand their brightly-colored "skivvies to a new generation of Wiggles."
But, fear not -- there's still time to see the original line-up. The band will kick off a "Celebration Tour" at the end of May with shows planned for the U.K., U.S., Canada, New Zealand and Australia before new bandmates Emma, Lachlan and Simon suit up for the Wiggles 2.0.
While Jeff, Murray and Greg say they're quitting to spend more time with their families, we secretly suspect the undue "sexual walkabout" influence...

The current incarnation of the Wiggles will waggle no more. Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook, and Greg Page — better known as the purple, red, and yellow Wiggles, respectively — are ready to hang up their wiggling, they tell the AP. There are three replacement Wiggles waiting in the wings, so the hugely popular children's band will still tour and perform, but it won't be the same. It's like Blue's Clues all over again!

Sydney -- Three members of the children's music quartet The Wiggles will be hanging up their colorful outfits and leaving the Australian band this year, with the Blue Wiggle the lone original member left dancing.
Jeff Fatt (Purple Wiggle), Murray Cook (Red Wiggle) and Greg Page (Yellow Wiggle) will leave after the group wraps up a "Celebration Tour" that begins this month and ends in Australia in December, the band said in a statement Thursday. The trio will no longer perform but will take on backstage, creative roles.
Three replacements have already been chosen to join Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle), who helped found the group in 1991. Since then, the group has earned worldwide renown with dozens of pop-influenced children's albums, concert tours and a television show featuring singing, jumping, dancing and skits with recurring characters like Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus.

Greg Page was known for years as the Yellow Wiggle in the popular children's band The Wiggles. But in 2006, he abruptly left the band. Now that he's making his return, the Aussie performer, 40, is opening up in the new issue of People (on newsstands now) about the health crisis that drove him to leave the group for five years. "I had to do it, for my health," Page says, describing a period of time during which he experienced fainting spells - once after greeting a young fan - and loss of sensation that had him in the doctor's office being...

The Wiggles have celebrated Greg Page's return and marked Australia Day by recording a special version of 'Waltzing Matilda'. The children's entertainment group, who returned to their original lineup last week after sacking stand-in member Sam Moran, released a video of the patriotic song yesterday and asked their fans to appreciate their "wonderful" country. Wiggle Anthony Field said on the video posted on their YouTube channel: "Happy Australia Day! On January 26 every year, Australians go out and celebrate what it is to be Australian. We love the cultural diversity, the wonderful weather and of course, the wonderful seafood. "Don't forget the wonderful wildlife, the bird life... and everybody (more)...

Former Yellow Wiggle Sam Moran has said goodbye to his fans via an internet video. The former children's entertainer, who joined The Wiggles five years ago after Greg Page suffered from health problems, found out recently that he was being sacked to make way for Page's return. Although it was initially reported that Moran was happy to step aside in order to spend more time with his family, it has since been claimed that he was "ostracised" from the group from the beginning. In an interview with the lineup on Australian morning television yesterday (January 19), Wiggles member Anthony Page struggled to answer a question about whether Moran was shocked at being let go. Moran said in his YouTube video: "I just wanted to send a message to all the children around the world who have sent me such wonderful messages - and some sad messages too saying (more)...

The Wiggles have revealed that they have not spoken to former Yellow Wiggle Sam Moran since he was replaced earlier this week. Moran, who joined the Australian children's entertainment group for five years after original member Greg Page had to quit due to ill health, was allegedly shocked to discover after Christmas that Page had been brought back and he was being sacked. The group was asked by Today TV presenter Richard Wilkins yesterday (January 19): "Was it news to [Sam that he was being replaced]?" Blue Wiggle Anthony Field struggled to reply at first, but then said: "Yes, it was news to him." After a pause, he then said: "I haven't spoken to him, I don't know. "I don't want to speak for a guy when I don't know how he feels. Maybe you'll have to talk to Sam to find out what he thinks. What (more)...

The Wiggles lead singer Sam Moran was an outsider during his whole stint in the children's entertainment group, it has been reported. Moran was introduced to the act when original Yellow Wiggle Greg Page had to quit due to health problems, but sources have claimed that he was often "ostracised" from the other members, mocked for his different contract and referred to as the "salaried Wiggle". Page has now been reinstated to his original role, but various insiders have alleged that Moran was given no warning of his replacement or the chance to say goodbye to his fans. A source told the Herald Sun: "The tour finished and there was no farewell, no closure, no chance for Sam to say goodbye." When Page's return was announced (more)...

Greg Page has revealed that he is "excited" to be rejoining The Wiggles. The 40-year-old star, who was part of the original lineup of the children's entertainment group, took five years off from work after being struck down by a rare medical condition but has now returned. Page said in a statement published by The ABC: "I'm excited to be back with my friends and to be entertaining our incredible fans again. "I didn't get a chance to say farewell last time, so this is an opportunity I couldn't refuse. I'm feeling great and looking forward to doing what I love." Page was replaced by Sam Moran after suffering from fainting spells and chronic fatigue. He was later diagnosed with dysautonomia, a condition affecting the nervous system. (more)...

Kylie Minogue and The Wiggles have been inducted into the Aria Hall of Fame. Singer Minogue and children's entertainment group The Wiggles were honoured with the prizes in the build-up to the Aria Awards next month and will both accept them in person in Sydney on November 27. Blue Wiggle Anthony Field told the Herald Sun: "It's such an honour to be in inducted in the same year as Kylie. We're both proudly Australian. When we go overseas, everyone knows Kylie is Australian and everyone knows The Wiggles are Australian. "You automatically think the Aria Hall of Fame is for rock and roll bands, so it's pretty incredible. It's nice to be recognised. We didn't expect it in a million years." Greg Page has revealed that he felt like a "failure" when he lost all his money. The 39-year-old Australian star said that he found it difficult to cope when his property development investments collapsed during the global financial crisis. Page, who is best known as the yellow member of children's entertainment group The Wiggles, told New Idea magazine: "Those losses really struck a blow. Here’s a new twist on a tired gimmick: A found footage flick spread across three VHS cassettes that are discovered years after a horrifying series of events befall a small group of friends. Eric Anthony Pereira’s “The Locals” — not to be confused with Greg Page’s 2003 effort — is set in the ultra-campy landscape of the mid-80′s, which explains why its cannibal-centric storyline is “captured” on this antiquated format. To set the stage for the film’s eventual release, comic book artist Dennis Willman has crafted a kick-ass poster that harkens back to the pre-Photoshop days of horror movie promotion. Check out the picture’s official press release: The upcoming 80′s-set “found footage” cannibal/slasher film “The Locals” has released its first official poster and a collage of select “character shots”. Also included are a variety of set photos via the film’s official Facebook page which can be found at – http://www.
