David Dybeck(III)

- Production Designer
David's Spanish grandfather had run several cinemas in Valencia; however, David studied industrial engineering in Berlin and Melbourne before committing himself fully to filmmaking. He gained first experiences in the industry as directing intern of Sönke Wortmann, working on the feature films Sommerfest (X-Filme, 2017) and Der Vorname (Constantin Film, 2018).
His award-winning short film Nachtschicht was funded by the young talent program Rheinland-Pfalz and toured at festivals nationally and internationally until 2021.
In parallel, David contributed as writer and voice director for the interactive audio drama 1-800 SUPER, whose story evolves around the crisis hot line for depressive superheroes. The game was funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and was nominated for the German Developer Award 2020.
In late 2021, David received funding from HessenFilm und Medien for the script development of his feature-length thriller comedy Herr Schwarz.
