Remember the first ever Love Island with its seemingly clueless single celebrities constantly bickering on a tumultuous and stormy (literally and metaphorically) Fijian island?
Even the show's co-hosts Kelly Brook and Patrick Kielty were baying for one another's blood when Kielty decided to declare during one live show that Brook had previously dated contestant Paul Danan.
Other memorable highlights included Abi Titmuss becoming more and more enraged as Fran Cosgrave repeatedly referred to her as Vanessa Feltz, swiftly followed by a tipsy and uncouth Rebecca Loos letting rip.
The series aired almost exactly a decade ago, so we found ourselves wondering - whatever happened to eventual winner Jayne Middlemiss? And the Love Island love god that was Lee Sharpe?
As the new non-celebrity series currently enjoys its ITV2 revival, we find out what the 12 star contestants have gone on to do since their 2005 stint below:

We love Nick Hewer. Lord Sugar's right-hand man on The Apprentice always seems so wise with his withering gazes and blunt statements, so we couldn't wait to get him on the phone for a natter about, well, a bit of everything.
Taking in The Apprentice, rude words on Countdown, whether he'll ever go into politics (or Strictly) and so much more, here are 11 things we learned from Nick...
1. He has a terrible work-life balance and even used to hide in office cupboards.
"My work-life balance is terrible! Trying to cram in too much. Appalling. I don't know what to do about it. It's always been appalling. I think it started off when I was much younger. It was a sense of insecurity and lack of self-esteem, so I made up for it by working harder than anybody else. And that sort of stuck. When it all started, I was...

Opinions are like genitals. Everyone has them but we neither want nor need people to start parading theirs around in public for all to see. If we want to see them, we’ll actively search for them. This school of thought doesn’t apply to a lot of people including protestors, religious zealots, and most recently the UK feminist groups UK Feminista and Object who are attempting to bring us one step closer to a recreation of 1984 by spearheading a new campaign to ban lads’ mags that is aptly titled “Lose The Lads’ Mags”.
It would be supremely unfair of me to instantly dismiss these groups as whining idiots because in some areas, they do make a good point. As an earnest supporter of healthy body image, I can understand the concerns of some people about skinny bikini-clad women in the media not helping young girls to be comfortable in their own skin.

On Monday night, E4 launched a new dating show that involved fairytale fancy dress, power ballad singing and catapults.
My Little Princess is the latest in a long history of bonkers dating shows that have made it to the small screen and in tribute to the TV commissioners who considered them wise ideas and in any way romantic, we've collected together our 15 personal favourites.
My Little Princess
Men dressed as princes, who must impress an evil king to secure a date with his daughter. Standard. Throw in lots of mud, talking horses, power ballad sing-offs and men being thrown off bridges. Obviously. My Little Princess blends Tool Academy and Takeshi's Castle to make the ultimate dumb dating show.
Singled Out
The classic MTV series hosted by Chris Hardwick and Jenny McCarthy in the Us featured a wild audience of contestants, who looked like they'd been dragged in from a booze-laden Spring Break wet T-shirt contest.

The stars came out in force to support wildlife artist and conservationist, David Shepherd Cbe , as he took his TigerTime Campaign to the heart of Westminster this week.
Ricky Gervais, Joanna Lumley, Abi Titmuss and Robert Lindsay were among guests calling for a ban on the illegal trade in tiger parts – one of the key factors driving the last 3,200 wild tigers to the edge of extinction.
“When I was born there were over 100,000 wild tigers in the world, today there are fewer than 3,200,” says David Shepherd, who launched TigerTime on his 80th birthday in 2011. “Habitat destruction and poaching are decimating a species that’s value is far greater than the £10 ,000 price tag on its head.”

Abi Titmuss has claimed that her glamour model career made her lose self-respect. Ex-nhs nurse Titmuss, who is now forging a career as an actress, admitted that her stint as a model left her feeling low and resorting to partying and drinking to boost her morale. The former lover of TV presenter John Leslie told the Radio Times: "I clawed my way out of the hole I'd dug myself, but I know I wouldn't be sitting here were it not for all that. It did give me financial security, but it came at a great emotional cost. "My self-esteem got so low, because I wasn't happy with what I was doing, that the only thing that would make me feel better (more)...

As more than a dozen journalists have been arrested in the investigation into Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. and their alleged phone hacking, CNN's Piers Morgan was called on to testify via video link from the U.S. Tuesday (Dec. 20).
The AP reports that the main topic of testimony was about comments Morgan made in a 2006 news article he wrote for the Daily Mail, in which Morgan said he was played a phone message left by Paul McCartney for then-wife Heather Mills.
Mills has said there is no way Morgan could have obtained that message in an honest way, and when Morgan was pressed by the inquiry chief Lord Justice Brian Leveson to provide evidence that he did obtain the message legally, Morgan could not do so.
Before he became a U.S. personality, Morgan ran two British tabloids, including Murdoch's News of the World and then its rival, the Daily Mirror.

British actress Joanna Lumley has added her support to TigerTime, the new global charity campaign to save the last 3,200 wild tigers on earth.
Joanna joins an amazing list of celebrities from all across the world of entertainment in both the UK and USA including Ricky Gervais, Roger Moore, Michael Parkinson, Melanie C, Anjelica Huston, Susan Sarandon, Gemma Atkinson, Vicki Roberts, Simon King, Naomie Harris, Neil Gaiman, Claire King, Abi Titmuss, Elizabeth Emanuel and Paula Abdul.
“Animals share the earth with us: that is to say, they are equal partners in the right to live on this planet,” says Joanna. “In our anxiety to make the world a better place for ourselves, let us be very careful that we don’t obliterate the needs of other species. If the tiger disappears from the wild because of our behaviour we humans shall have lost all claims to be called civilised and compassionate.

Mickey Rourke has had his share of women, but who knew he had 14 of them in one night. "Forget Ashley Cole, his behaviour has nothing on a film star," he told British TV host Lizzie Cundy, according to UK's Sun. "WAGs [wives and girlfriends of soccer stars] get an easy time - they should try living with Hollywood hellraisers." Ashley Cole is a UK soccer star at the center of several sex scandals including a gay orgy. "I once spent a weekend in the UK and had 14 women in one night," Rourke said. No word on how long ago the alleged sex marathon took place, but Rourke, 57, says it was before he met his current girlfriend, Anastassija Makarenko, 24. He has been married twice. The Sun also reports that Rourke solicited Abi Titmuss and Thandie Newton, who is married,...

Part 6: From 50 Cent to Piers Morgan
50 Cent Bought a lot of ugly houses, killed hip-hop in the process
Good work on destroying hip-hop there, Curtis Jackson. Your relentless – and highly profitable – pursuit of the lowest common denominator has turned what was once actually exciting, a musical form that had wit and imagination and some glorious fire in its belly, into something crushingly, ball-achingly tedious, a tail-chasing, scab-picking parody of itself. I mean, well done on the cash and all that, but couldn't "Fiddy" have done something more interesting with it other than just buy an ugly house, some bullet-proof vests and a bunch of vulgar motors while writing rhymes like, "'Til the sun comes up, every night, we party, yeah we party 'til daylight", or, if you prefer, "I'm in my Lambo maggot, my 4, 4 faggot …" Is that it? Is that all the hip-hop fan deserves? Apparently, yes; yes it is.
