What do the Brown family from Sister Wives and the cast of Stranger Things have in common? At first glance, fans might not find very much in common at all. But upon further glance, they could find more than meets the eye
One thing is absolutely certain — the Browns’ lives have completely transformed from their days in Utah. Read on and see what other fans had to say.
Sister Wives Fans Think The Browns Are Now Living In The Upside Down
Long-time Sister Wives fans know that the Brown family members are nothing like the way they were in Season 1. Multiple moves and shifting family dynamics sparked the original three wives to leave Kody.
Today, the family is completely fractured as the wives go their separate ways. And that’s precisely why viewers think it’s almost like they’re living in the upside-down world from Netflix’s Stranger Things.

French-Senegalese actor and producer Seydina Baldé has worn many hats across his career including World Karate Champion and stuntman on films such as Brian de Palma’s Femme Fatale and Bond movie Casino Royale, but his dream since childhood has been to be an actor.
After a dozen small parts, Baldé engineered his first starring role with the self-produced, English-language action thriller Covert Operation (aka The Borderland). The North Korean-set movie, about a bounty hunter on a mission to break prisoners out of high-security military compound, sold to Lionsgate for the U.S. and won praise from action movie fans.
A decade later, Baldé is appearing in the most ambitious production of his career, six-part show Lex Africana, which is being billed as the first martial arts-based action thriller to come out of West Africa.

Bernard Hill’s castmates from The Lord of the Rings gave several touching tributes to the actor, who died Sunday at the age of 79.
Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan and Sean Astin — who played the hobbits in Peter Jackson’s three blockbuster films — honored him at a Comic Con event in Liverpool.
Hill played the stern and regal King Théoden, who helped lead the saga’s heroes to victory during the battle at Helm’s Deep in 2002’s The Two Towers, and then again at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields in 2003’s Return of the King.
“We just want to take a moment, before we walk off this stage, to honor him,” Astin told fans at the event. “He was supposed to be here today. We love him. He was intrepid, he was funny, he was gruff, he was irascible, he was beautiful.”

The good news: Powell (Anna Enger Ritch) is alive on S.W.A.T. The bad news? Well, there’s a lot of it, in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the February 23 episode. The premiere ended with the team realizing that in securing stolen weapons, a very dangerous bomb was still out there—and Powell discovered that the person who has it is Gabriel Bautista (Rick Mancia), the local cop with whom she was about to grab dinner. He attacked and strangled her, but we knew she wasn’t dead since Ritch was made a series regular for the show’s final season. Now, in our clip, Hondo (Shemar Moore) and Hicks (Patrick St. Esprit) are in her hotel room looking for her before their flight home. “None of her stuff’s here, but I just found her phone on the floor by the curtain,” Hondo reveals. S.W.A.T. returned to the air for the first time in eight months and delivered one of the series’ most shocking twists.
S.W.A.T. Season 7 Episode 1 seemingly wrapped up with Powell (Anna Enger Rich) being killed off.
The high-stakes premiere found the team trying to locate a thermobaric vacuum bomb, but when their mission seemed over, the bomb was missing.
Powell, who had been getting close to Gabriel (Rick Mancia), caught a look at his phone and learned that he was the one who took the bomb.
Alone with him in a hotel room, she didn’t even get a chance to consider her options before he attacked her.
As the episode concluded, Rick strangled Powell, with her seemingly dead as the episode cut to black.
Powell is probably still alive
While killing such a beloved character off would send the final season in a different direction, it’s hard to believe this is truly the end.

Grab your boombox and meet me at the skatepark, because we're throwing it back to the '90s, folks! Despite all the warm and fuzzy feelings that that decade inspires in Millennials like me, it wasn't exactly a golden age for superhero media ... on the big screen, that is. For comic fans and loyal viewers of Saturday morning cartoons, well, animated shows were simply the place to be. We had "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Spider-Man" at our fingertips, but we're here to talk about one beloved series over all the rest: "X-Men: The Animated Series." The pop-cultural legacy of this show simply can't be overstated, acting as a gateway to comic books for an entire generation of young fans.
Now, over three decades later, Marvel is returning to the small screen with a Disney+ revival titled "X-Men '97." The project was first revealed back on Disney+ Day in 2021, but...

Is it any wonder that Bass Reeves was the inspiration for The Lone Ranger?
We meet Bass in the middle of an ongoing battle Civil War, where he’s fighting side-by-side with his “owner,” Confederate Army Commander George Reeves.
Bass promises George he will follow him into battle and fire when necessary, and he does just that, shooting with laser-sharp precision, never missing his mark.
Like all wars, it’s a disgusting scene, and this one culminates in white men masquerading as Native Americans, scalping their opponents after their victory.
On Lawmen: Bass Reeves Season 1 Episode 1, we learn quickly that the brightest, most well-adjusted man in any room is Bass himself. Despite his circumstances, he’s a moral man who is fearless in the face of moral ambiguity or outright absence.
A story of a man this good might not work if not for David Oyelowo’s portrayal. He plays...

"Emily in Paris" season four is still on the way, though it could be a while before it premieres. Filming for the next installment of our favorite Paris-based squad has been delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but Variety reported on Sept. 29 that the show is expected to start shooting in January. Time is really of the essence.
From June 2024 through that September, all shoots in Paris are barred while the Olympic Games take place, plus access to key areas in the French capital could be restricted as early as March. Production has also already been forced to switch studios. With shooting locations becoming more competitive due to the smaller shooting time frame, it'll be a frantic few months for the "Emily in Paris" crew. But we have faith they'll make it work (please!). Series star Lily Collins spilled a few details about season four in a video...

You weren’t alone in getting creeped out by the AI villain of this summer’s “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.” President Joe Biden was freaked too.
After the president watched the movie, he grew deeply troubled, according to White House chief of staff Bruce Reed, who spoke to The Associated Press.
“If he hadn’t already been concerned about what could go wrong with AI before that movie, he saw plenty more to worry about,” said Reed, who watched the film with the president.
On Monday, Biden signed an executive order on artificial intelligence, meant to “balance the needs of cutting-edge technology companies with national security and consumer rights, creating an early set of guardrails that could be fortified by legislation and global agreements” (according to the AP).

Undoubtedly, All Rise Season 3 Episode 12 is the best episode of the season so far and is one of the series' best.
The organ trafficking case allowed the two strongest female lawyers to face off and work together to catch the most significant criminal.
With "Guilt is a Bully, " many of our favorites realize that guilt is holding them back in their relationships, and the series highlights friends and couples having fun. Was nothing more yummy than seeing Wilson Bethel and J. Alex Brinson shirtless?
Organ trafficking cases are challenging to watch since there are no winners. I've watched similar cases on Law & Order: Svu and my heart went to Damien Davis and Gabriel Salas.
Amy's client, Damien, only had six months to live and was 250th on the transplant list, so he purchased the kidney. He never intended the traffickers to attack Gabriel violently when they removed the kidney.

AI - i.e. artificial intelligence - is everywhere right now. On TikTok, I often come across AI covers sung by digital imitations of other artists. My friends who are teachers say that they know students are turning in AI-generated work. And AI-generated images seem to go viral all the time; that image of the Pope wearing a giant white puffer still makes me laugh, even if I know there's something not quite right there. As a writer, I'm constantly thinking about the threat AI poses to what I do, too.
Somewhat serendipitously - seeing as these projects have been in the works for literally years - it's also been a big year for fictional AI onscreen. This summer, "Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1" featured Tom Cruise's borderline superhuman Ethan Hunt facing off against a literal AI. This summer, "Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1" featured Tom Cruise's borderline superhuman Ethan Hunt facing off against a literal AI. The humans he physically fights in the real world are directed...

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series is back for Season 3. This time, the CIA takes Jack Ryan to Rome, where he finds himself in the middle of a larger conspiracy than he originally thought.
Nina Hoss, who plays Alena Kovac, and Betty Gabriel, who plays Elizabeth Wright, recently sat with uInterview founder Erik Meers to discuss working with iconic actors John Krasinski and Wendell Pierce.
“Wendell, I don’t even know what I was laughing at … not at him, but he just makes me laugh like no other,” Gabriel shared. “There were several moments of, that in between takes or within the scene, I’m just like, ‘Stop doing that Wendell!’ I’m cracking because it’s just so fun to have fun in quite a serious context. These are CIA operatives and it’s high stakes and it’s very serious, but within that, there was a lot of fun.

Janelle Brown has spent the last five years living in Flagstaff, Arizona. Despite growing up in Utah, the mother of six managed to make Arizona her home base after her then-husband, Kody Brown, moved the entire plural family to the state. Now that her relationship with Kody Brown has ended, she appears to be planning her next move. While she mused about a potential move back to Utah on Sister Wives, it doesn’t seem like she’s leaped just yet. So, where exactly is Janelle Brown living in 2023?
Where is Janelle Brown originally from?
Janelle Brown was introduced to Sister Wives fans as Kody Brown’s second wife, but she had a full life before she became a polygamist. Janelle grew up in a religious household but did not grow up in polygamy. Her father, Robert Schriever, died when she was still a young child.

In an era when many superhero films have adapted an unflattering, desaturated visual style in the name of realism, "Aquaman" is a balm for the eyes. The James Wan-directed DC Comics flick is full of eye-popping colors and imagery reminiscent of the splash pages you find in actual comic books. There are also nods aplenty to classic sci-fi and adventure stories, from the globe-trotting tomb-raiding of the Indiana Jones films to the fantastical prehistoric setting of Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World." So it should come as no surprise that Wan has taken a similar approach to crafting a unique look for his sequel, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom."
Speaking at a reveal event for the "Lost Kingdom" trailer attended by /Film's own Jenna Busch-Henderson, Wan talked about the importance of world-building to the "Aquaman" films. "We enjoy all the different worlds that really no superhero movies go into,...

One of the most bizarre aspects of the second season of AppleTV+’s sci-fi series Invasion is how the pacing turns out to be random and all over the place. While the first and third episodes accelerated the narrative by deftly handling multiple storylines at once, the second and fourth episodes dedicate entire episodes to rather inconsequential segments that barely move the plot forward, if at all. Especially the fourth episode, The Tunnel, tries to put a survival horror twist in the narrative flow, and in doing so, it not only disrupts the pacing but also goes way off course with the central plotline.
In the previous episode, Mitsuki’s maneuver involving the formless alien entity disabled the cloaking mechanism of the invading alien attack vessels, which gave the Wdc a brief window of time to shoot the majority of them down. The collapse of attack vessels rendered the invading alien life forms inactive,...

The Mission Impossible film series has to be one of the most exciting experiences ever, as it represents the very core of why the world loves Tom Cruise, and that is because he is batshit crazy, and goes out of his way to try and kill himself with more and more dangerous stunts just to make the audience happy. After nearly thirty years Tom Cruise and Mission Impossible film series are still going strong and now it seems that this new Mi film is the beginning of the end, as it is rumored that Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is the first part of a two-part finale that will end the Mission Impossible film series.

The series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book, Good Omens, became a big hit when the show hit Prime Video. This summer saw the release of Good Omens 2, the follow-up to the successful first run. Michael Sheen has become the face of the character of Aziraphale, but Gaiman has recently revealed in a Tumblr post that he originally had another actor in mind as the angel. A fan asked him if anyone else came close to playing the roles of the duo. In a response, it was unveiled that Sheen was actually intended for Crowley, and Gaiman wanted Hugh Grant to embody Aziraphale.
ComingSoon.net reports that Gaiman explained, “I remember spending a lot of time pondering who Aziraphale could be back when Crowley was going to be Michael, and I think Hugh Grant was a leading contender in my head, but then somewhere in the middle of writing episode...

Gabriel Macht may have made a name for himself on "Suits," but it turns out, acting chops run in the family. His father, Stephen Macht, is not only a seasoned actor, but was also a recurring character on his son's hit drama series.
Stephen kicked off his acting career in the '70s and was best known for credits like "The Monster Squad" and Stephen King's "Graveyard Shift," before starring opposite Gabriel's Harvey Specter on "Suits." The 81-year-old actor portrayed Henry Gerard, a legal ethics professor at Harvard Law School. Stephen appeared in six episodes in seasons three through nine, with his character both butting heads and teaming up with Harvey on several occasions. As one of the few who was aware of Mike Ross's secret, Gerard played a pivotal role in keeping Mike from being exposed as a fraud.
"Gabriel coaches me as Professor Gerard; the student has become the teacher.

Monay, real name Jerrica Brooks (daughter of comedian J.B. Smoove), played a strong game in Claim to Fame Season 2, which came to a close on August 28 on ABC. Arguably the season’s best strategist, she came in second place behind Gabriel Cannon, whose finale challenge win gave him the power to decide the order of the final Guess-Offs, setting the stage for his win. While Jerrica proved to have the best pop culture knowledge of the cast, she was one of the many who fell victim to the Elton John theory. Chris Osmond‘s claim to fame was father Donny Osmond, but it took the young cast the entire season to bring up his name as a possibility. Somehow, Hugo Wentzel (President Jimmy Carter’s grandson) was convinced the British musician was from Utah, and he had Jerrica, J.R., and ...

The first season of Netflix series “The Night Agent” is one of the season’s most immersive and kinetic action shows, largely thanks to stunt coordinator Mike Mitchell. As the artist in charge of the series’ fights and car chases, he’s created a string of visceral set pieces in which the audience feels every punch, kick, and gunshot that FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) endures and inflicts. The starting point, according to Mitchell, was reality. “I wanted feet on the ground, organic action based on real FBI technique,” Mitchell told IndieWire. “As long as we’re within safety parameters, I don’t like over-rehearsing fights; I like to keep a fight natural. When somebody slips in a fight or gets out of reach and needs to grab someone’s shirt, maybe spin around — those beats are money. If you’re super-rehearsed it becomes wooden, and you’re not...
