Steve Gill has become the first of four people to be evicted from the Big Brother house tonight.
Tonight, with only four days left until the BB11 final on Tuesday, Big Brother host Davina McCall announced, in no particular order, that Andrew was safe but Steve would be the first person to leave tonight. The former soldier received 9.8% of the total votes cast and spent 73 days in the Big Brother House.
Departing the house through the diary room, Steve shouted:
‘ I can’t wait to see my kids! Yeah!’
He emerged to a cheering crowd, with not a boo to be heard. We were delighted, we always loved the gentle giant!

In the biggest TV non shock of the year, Rachel Ifon was evicted from Big Brother tonight.
She received 58.5% of the total votes cast and spent twenty eight days in the Big Brother House.
The air hostess faced the public vote along with John James Parton and Dave Vaughan. They are original housemates, while she only entered a few short weeks ago. During her time in the house, we feel that Rachel failed to make much of a mark, so it’s no surprise that she finds herself leaving tonight.
Rachel will be remembered for arriving in the Big Brother house by space ship along with fellow newbies Keeley and Andrew; for performing the lead vocal in the Don’t Stop Believing duet; for irritating housemates with her night time chatter and for trying to teach John James cats cradle.
Josie will no doubt be thrilled that her John James...

Big Brother bosses are said to be worried that former housemate Keeley will take legal action against them.
The 30 year old travel agency manager fell and injured her ankle during a task, in which she was forced to dress like a spider and try to clamber out of a bath tub. As she writhed in agony, fellow housemates tried to help by applying ice to her leg and helping her get to a bed, however it was five hours later before show bosses brought her to a local hospital.
After Keeley was diagnosed with a fractured ankle and forced to leave the show, bosses called an emergency meeting to ensure that they have met all safety guidelines. Some are worried that Keeley could sue them for compensation.
Last night a source told The Daily Star: “Technically she has suffered an accident at work and like any employee she can seek...
