Paul Pimenta

Born in the UK, Paul is an LA-based international screenwriter. He previously wrote for video games and began screenwriting after returning from a 7-year sojourn in China. His first project, Rana & Riv's Wonder Forest, a preschool project he created and wrote, was produced by Ethos Entertainment and acquired by Cheers Media.
After this, Melnitsa Animation, Russia's largest animation studio, hired him to both script edit and write the new season of Moonzy, one of the world's most popular preschool shows. Paul wrote 31 episodes of Moonzy, which was recently acquired by Kenn Viselmann's Itsy Bitsy Entertainment, the studio behind some of the world's biggest children's franchises including Teletubbies, Thomas the Tank Engine and Noddy.
Paul also developed Five Kids Club for Nucleus Media Rights (in production), he wrote all 26 episodes of Bal Bahubali, an action adventure series for ETV, episodes for popular Singaporean preschool show, Ollie and Friends (produced) and has gone on to write several other exciting soon-to-be-announced projects for older audiences.
Paul specializes in writing for preschool, bridge, 6-12 and YA audiences. He also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
