Rozel Ahmed
Rozel Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricket commentator and former 1st division cricketer of Mymensingh District. Throughout the span of his playing career, he used to play as an opening batsman and wicket-keeper. Most of the time in his school days cricket, he was skipping his side.
Rozel was a cricket addict from his childhood. After seeing his addiction to cricket, his mother Rozey Aktar first made a bat from wood in 2000. In that year he first played cricket with that wooden bat with his neighbor's older brother named Oli. Day by day he had been a good batter. His father was a government employee that's why he had the privilege to visit different places and meet new friends and seniors.
Rozel Ahmed first went to "Ammatul" school to study "play group" which was very close to his residence. But his elder sister studied in a different school named "Ananda Path School". Rozel's father decided to shift him to his sister's school. Then Rozel Ahmed studied at that school for kindergarten-level education. To get a better education his father decided to shift him to another renowned school of Mymensingh named "Holy Soul Kinder Garden". Rozel studied at that school in the last part of class 1 and class 2. He was a good student from childhood. That's why his father was trying to get him admitted to the best school in Mymensingh city named Mymensingh Zilla School. Rozel Ahmed took preparation from a popular school teacher Late Habibur Rahman Sir and finally got a chance at the school by competing in the admission test at Class 3 and 32nd at Day Shift. He started playing cricket in his school days. Rozel Ahmed played tireless cricket during his primary and higher secondary education like before starting school, in the mid-break sometimes after school. He was a fantastic captain in fact one of the most successful captains in his class. Rozel was the pioneer of different cricket tournaments in the school, some are named MZPL(Mymensingh Zilla School Premier League), and Bilateral Series Between two private institution named Protissruti and The Cadet. He got the talent pool scholarship in class 5 and stood 23rd in the Mymensingh district. Then Rozel Ahmed's father was trying to admit him to the Cadet colleges of the country. But he was unwilling to get admitted to cadet colleges and he didn't go to school regularly and couldn't play cricket regularly. Rozel Ahmed was losing his performance day by day. Couldn't make cadet colleges as well. In class 8 Rozel attended the JSC(Junior School Certificate) exam and got GPA-5 (A+ in all subjects). He achieved the talent pool scholarship in that exam. Surprisingly Rozel Ahmed stood 23rd in the district again. After 2 years there was a board exam ahead of him named SSC(Secondary School Certificate) equivalent to 'O' level. In that exam, Rozel got GPA-5 (A+ in all subjects). With that exam, he finished his school life and left Mymensingh Zilla School where many memories were created. Then Rozel was admitted to a renowned college Ananda Mohan College, Mymensingh. His college life wasn't that good. Because it was a government college and there was no pressure to attend every day. In 2016 Rozel Ahmed attended another board exam called HSC( Higher Secondary School Certificate) equivalent to an 'A' level. He got GPA-5(A+ in all subjects) and also a board scholarship in the general category in Dhaka Board. But the main failure of his life came after this exam. He failed to get a chance at a government university in the country. Rozel was unable to be admitted to a private university because of financial competencies. Then he got depressed but was confident and started a 2nd-time preparation to get a chance in a government university. In March 2017 Rozel Ahmed started his studies. The first time he wanted to be an engineer. There is no second-time admission in the government engineering universities of the country. Still, there was an opportunity to get admitted to the government Science and technology universities. He used to gossip with one of his friends named Shishir who was preparing for Arts units of the public universities. After that Rozel was interested in taking preparation for the Arts unit in July 2017. From March he was preparing for the science unit.
