Larry Frenock is an actor, producer and general manager. As General Manager and Line Producer for Tectonic Theater Project in NYC, he has produced the world premiere of the work-in-progress "The Album or Here There Are Blueberries" by Moisés Kaufman with collaborating artist Amanda Gronich (2018), and the world and Off-Broadway premieres of "Uncommon Sense" by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris (2017) for Tectonic. He was the Producing Artistic Director at Gretna Theatre (PA) for ten years (2006-2016), one of the oldest AEA summer theaters in the country. Producing over 115 shows there, he set box office records, produced east coast, regional and PA premieres, presented stars such as Tommy Tune, Shirley Jones, Sally Struthers, Faith Prince, Pam Tillis and commissioned multiple children's plays and musicals. He was the Managing Director of Stamford Theatre Works (CT) and is particularly proud of the world premiere of "Fraternity" by Steve Karp (2005). He was the General Manager of Playhouse on the Green (CT) and Assistant to the Producer at the Darien Dinner Theatre (CT). Larry produced and starred in the NYC revival of Jerome Kern's "Leave It to Jane" (1979) and has appeared in plays, films, television commercials, corporate videos and musicals all over the United States, including Off-Broadway's "Mack the Knife, the Life and Music of Bobby Darin" (2003) in NYC. In his "spare" time, he is his family's genealogist and an avid amateur figure skater, winning eight gold medals at the U.S. Adult National Figure Skating Championships between 2001-2018.
