26-year-old Matt McGuire is an actor first, and a musician second. Or a
musician first, and an actor second. Depending on which big break comes
first.
Although he holds a degree in music recording, McGuire has been working
with Balls Productions as an actor since 1998, when he made his first
appearance as "Uncle Matty" in the Boston cult classic, "The Stoop."
After playing the sleazy, sex-crazed character, Matt eventually had to
leave the Boston area to find a girlfriend.
During casting for "Beer Muscles," McGuire encouraged his boss at
Fidelity Investments, to read the role of Gene Drummond. His boss was
eventually given the role, and shortly after, McGuire was transferred.
Obviously multi-talented, McGuire has received rave reviews on his
performance as Trent Dawkins in "Beer Muscles." He also wrote the music
and performed the song "Little Orphan Slutbag" for the "Beer Muscles"
soundtrack.
