- Toni Tucci was born on October 1, 1919 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. She was an actress and writer, known for The Untouchables (1959), East Side/West Side (1963) and Naked City (1958). She died on December 7, 2010 in Indian Harbor Beach, Florida, USA.
- She appeared as Carl's girl, opposite tenor saxophonist/actor Georgie Auld, who played Carl, in the opening night cast of the Broadway play "Rat Race" on 22 December 1950 at the Ethyl Barrymore Theatre. The show lasted through 84 performances, closing on 4 March 1950.
- In 1978, her novel "The Butterfly Secret" was published. It dealt with the older woman/younger man phenomenon in romantic relationships, something that had been taboo, but was becoming more and more acceptable in that day and time.
