Yesterday Poland and Greece played to a dramatic 1-1 draw before Russia put on an offensive show -- show of offense? It was only offensive if you were Czech -- in a 4-1 win over the Czech Republic.
But today marked the first matches of Group B, the so-called Group of Death, which features Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal And Denmark. On paper Denmark was overmatched, but after a Michael Krohn-Dehli goal (which you can watch here) and some determined defending, the Danes eked out a 1-0 win and pput Holland in an awful position in group play.
The culprit, of course is Arjen Robben, who can't catch a break these days. Robben missed a penalty for club team Bayern Munich, costing them a Champions League title on their home turf at Allianz Arena,...
