Stars: Charlee Danielson, Anthony Sneed, Remedy, Tom Kohut, James Shell, Vivian Sanchez, R.A. The Rugged Man, Ginger Starr, J-Zone | Written and Directed by Frank Henenlotter
Director Frank Henenlotter is a cult horror legend. But after making the cult classics Basket Case, Brain Damage, Basket Case 2, Frankenhooker and finally, Basket Case 3, he disappeared. After 17 years in 2008, he returned and made another film, the black comedy (kinda) body horror Bad Biology. And now, almost another 17 years later again, Bad Biology is getting a 4K Uhd release from Severin Films.
Bad Biology, like the director’s previous work, is not a movie you’ll easily forget:
Driven by biological excess, a man and a woman search for sexual fulfilment, unaware of each other’s existence. Unfortunately, they eventually meet, and the bonding of these two very unusual human beings ends in a god awful love story.
That description only scratches the...

Mark Morales — the rapper, actor and music producer better known as Prince Markie Dee of the trailblazing rap group The Fat Boys — died Thursday at the age of 52. A cause of death has not been made public.
Morales’ death was announced by Sirius Xm’s Rock the Bells radio, where he hosted and DJ’d. “The Rock The Bells family is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Mark ‘Prince Markie Dee’ Morales earlier today. That voice and his presence can never be replaced. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones,” the station said via Twitter.
Born in Brooklyn in 1968, Morales co-founded what would become The Fat Boys as the Disco 3 with his friends Damon “Kool Rock-Ski” Wimbley and Darren “Buff Love” Robinson. As The Disco 3, the group shot to early success after winning a rap contest built around Morales’ and Kool Rock-Ski’s raps and Buff Love’s groundbreaking beatboxing,...

Fango got the scoop from the boys at Media Blasters that the company has picked up domestic rights to Frank Henenlotter’s Bad Biology. The movie marks the New York-based cult filmmaker’s first feature in over 15 years, since 1992’s Basket Case 3: The Progeny.
Scripted by Henenlotter and producer R.A. Thorburn, Bad Biology stars Charlee Danielson as Jennifer, a girl with a surplus of clitorides, and Anthony Sneed as Batz, a guy with an unusually large organ of his own; the FX were created by Henenlotter regular Gabe Bartalos (for more of the outrageous details, see our review here). Exact release plans—including whether the film will go theatrical before its DVD release—have yet to be confirmed, but it’ll arrive in early 2010, and we’ll bring you updates as we hear ’em. You can see Bad Biology’s MySpace page here.

Rapper-turned-filmmaker R.A. Thorburn, a.k.a. “The Rugged Man” and the producer/co-writer of Frank Henenlotter’s Bad Biology, dropped Fango a line with details and some gruesome set photos (see ’em below) from his first feature as a director. Titled God Take, God Give, it’s “an insane mockumentary,” according to Thorburn, based on the life of his father, Staff Sgt. John A. Thorburn.
“He was a highly decorated war hero who survived many government-funded secret missions in Vietnam,” he tells us, “only to come home affected by Agent Orange, which caused serious complications with some of his children and grandchildren. The scene pictured is based on some of the wilder stories surrounding his life; it was once rumored that he escaped a mental hospital and went on a killing spree. I basically reimagined those rumors as an ’80s splatter movie; it’s basically my father going nuts while...

Bad buh-buh-buh-biology: this was the comedy gods trembling as they blessed this one. A sure fire hit-or-miss, this film which looks to be overtly sickening ends up a pleasurable mixture of madness and "did they really just do that?" Yes, they did. Mutant sex organs, trashcan babies, flippant murder (er, actually that might be manslaughter) are just a few of the things you have to look forward to in cult director Frank Henenlotter's homage to, uh, something? Hell, I don't know, but it was alot more fun than it was disturbing.
Let's take a peek into our main character Jennifer's world: besides narrating the story (sometimes directly into the camera), she has 7 clitori (and maybe more inside) and...

Rating: 8.5 out of 10
Frank Henenlotter: 2008 NY Horror Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.
Bad Biology: Best Feature Film, Best Special Effects.
Unlike zombie films where agreed upon laws and rules govern the plot’s trajectory (head-shot = death, bite = infection), Henenlotter’s films are seemingly lawless, and therefore completely rhizomic and anarchistic in nature. This means that Henelotter’s films obey only the laws of Henenlotter and therefore can project out in any and all directions. If Romero is a Puritan then Henenlotter is the antinomian par excellence.
Try this: Henenlotter’s latest film Bad Biology is the story of Jennifer (Charlee Danielson) who is blessed/cursed with having clitorii buried throughout her body (seven alone inside her vagina), which allows her to experience seven times the pleasure of any other woman.
