Chris Evans' Captain America look has now been outed to the world, and the comics world is reacting. A couple of creators have reservations though.
The same can probably be said for "Battlestar Galactica" fans who (or weren't) watching SyFy's "Caprica" series, which has officially been cancelled. David Willis and Andrew Bell both sounded off about that move. Find out if you share their sentiments down below, along with whose palce of work Guillermo del Toro stopped by and how Tony Moore felt about the "Walking Dead" premiere.
I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter Report for October 28, 2010.
Captain America pt. 1: @jpalmiotti hmmm, captain america looks a little too colorful in real life.
-Jimmy Palmiotti, Writer ("Jonah Hex," "Painkiller Jane")
Captain America pt. 2: @ronmarz Looking forward to Captain America movie, but new Butch Guice Cap pages are more exciting to me than photos of Chris Evans as Cap.

The first installment of 2010's Comic-Con International schedule has been released, and it's already shaping up to be as busy as usual in San Diego.
The first chapter of the massive Comic-Con 2010 schedule covers Preview Night on Wednesday, July 21, and the first full day of events on Thursday, July 22. And if the first day is any indication, it's going to be another crazy year.
You can check out the full schedule of Wednesday/Thursday events at Sdcc's official website, but I've pulled a few of the highlights (in my opinion, at least).
With "Smallville" entering its final season, it will be interesting to see what Wednesday's Wbtv event might have in store for fans:
6:00-9:00 Special Sneak Peek Pilot Screenings— Wbtvg continues its Comic-Con tradition of hosting a special sneak peek premiere event on preview night, this year offering fans two opportunities to screen one of the fall...

One of my favorite conventions every year is the MoCCA Festival here in New York City, which gathers comic creators and publishers from the small-press, indie-oriented and online sides of the industry for a two-day show hosted by the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art.
While last year's show yielded a big scoop on the movie side (Top Shelf told me that Alex Robinson's "Too Cool To Be Forgotten" had been optioned), conversation was firmly focused on comics this time around — though I did get a little info about an upcoming comic tie-in with M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" adaptation.
Here are some of this year's MoCCA highlights for me:
— One of my first stops on the convention floor was the table for Top Shelf Productions, where I met two of the comic creators responsible for the publisher's recently announced "Swedish Invasion" line. Mats Jonsson ("Hey Princess...

You knew it had to happen sooner or later. "New Moon" actress Anna Kendrick's appearance in "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" has not gone unnoticed by the "Twilight" crowd, and Bryan Lee O'Malley is preparing himself for what lies ahead.
On the other end of the comics Twitterverse, Jeff Lemire revealed that the project he mentioned for Marvel a few days ago will be a Man-Thing story. Check out those posts after the jump, along with "Avatar" speculation, the Kurt Russell character Andy Diggle wants to write, and Greg Rucka's frustrations with "World of Warcraft."
It's all in the Twitter Report for December 9, 2009.
@radiomaru Twilight fandom refers to it as "Anna Kendrick's Scott Pilgrim" now
-Bryan Lee O'Malley, Writer/Artist ("Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," "Lost at Sea")
@JeffLemire Starting on my Man-Thing story today!
-Jeff Lemire, Writer/Artist ("Tales From The Farm," "Sweet Tooth")
