"We've decided that we need to make a change." AGC Studios + Catchlight Studios have revealed an official UK trailer for a kooky time travel comedy about a family called The Present, opening first in the UK in May this summer. Strangely his has no US date set yet, despite being a US film that should be on streaming by now. A brilliant boy discovers that he can manipulate time using a family heirloom - an old grandfather clock. He soon team up his siblings in returning to the time of their parents' separation from their in hopes of changing the outcome and stopping them from divorcing. Oh boy, this sounds a bit awkward. Actors Isla Fisher & Greg Kinnear star as the parents, with a cast including Ryan Guzman, Shay Rudolph, Amir Talai, Alphonso McAuley, Easton Rocket Sweda, Sarah Jane MacKay, & Mason Shea Joyce, with Eric Tiede. This looks really cheesy,...

Exclusive: The Daily Wire is set to debut a third movie for free on YouTube. Indie comedy The Hyperions, starring Cary Elwes, will launch on March 10 for viewers in the U.S.
After its initial showing, the film will be available exclusively for Daily Wire members to stream on its website.
According to the conservative media company, their debut original, the action thriller Shut In, recently drew more than 500,000 viewers in its first 72 hours across YouTube and its own website. The popularity of that launch inspired a repeat of the model, the company has told us.
“The Hyperions is one of the most creative films I’ve seen,” said Daily Wire co-ceo Jeremy Boreing. “It’s an ingenious comedy you can enjoy with your family and friends. We have always wanted to give it the largest possible audience and can’t wait to premiere it next week on YouTube for movie fans and our members.

"Your sister didn't ruin your life, her illness did." This looks like it has heart and a dash of brutal truth as he tries to figure out what to do with his life. Take a look. Peter Sattler could very well be making a return trip to Sundance following up 2014’s Camp X-Ray (we called it a remarkable screenwriting and directorial debut) with further dramatic tensions in Love & Oatmeal – a film that is toplined via the likes of Yvette Nicole Brown, Lola Kirke, Alphonso McAuley and Ben Platt. Shot in Vancouver, production began in June and they already had Park City regular in composer Keegan Dewitt score onboard for what could be an early 2019 bow.

Netflix has fired “Girlboss,” Variety reports.
The cancellation was announced on Instagram stories by Sophie Amoruso, the founder of Nasty Gal and whose story inspired the series.
“So that Netflix series about my life got canceled,” she wrote. “While I’m proud of the work we did, I’m looking forward to controlling my narrative from here on out. It was a good show, and I was privileged to work with incredible talent, but living my life as a caricature was hard even if only for two months. Yes, I can be difficult. No, I’m not a dick. No, someone named Shane never cheated on me. It will be nice to someday tell the story of what’s happened in the last few years. Ppl read the headline, not the correction, I’ve learned.”

It turns out a wedding isn't actually a requirement to throw a wedding reception, as seen in The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive clip of Random Tropical Paradise.
Written and directed by Sanjeev Sirpal, the raunchy comedy stars Bryan Greenberg as a man who, upon discovering his fiancee's infidelity and canceling his wedding, opts to take his best friend (Brooks Wheelan) on the already-paid-for honeymoon — an adventure that goes awry when they cross paths with the mafia.
Spencer Grammer, Brittany Furlan, Beth Littleford, Kyle Kinane, Jessica Lowe, Ayden Mayeri, Alphonso McAuley, Caitlin McHugh and Joe Pantoliano are also featured in the film.

"We're in a Fast & Furious movie right now, nothing has to make sense." Gunpowder & Sky has debuted a trailer for a wacky comedy called Random Tropical Paradise, about two friends who end up going on a honeymoon together. The story is that, when one guy discovers his soon-to-be-wife is cheating on him, he cancels the wedding. But his friend suggests that instead of cancelling the honeymoon, they turn it into a "homie-moon" and take the trip to this random tropical paradise together and have fun while they can. As with all tropical paradise movies, this dips into the drug boss trope and there's clearly a few drug trip scenes in this. Starring Bryan Greenberg, Brooks Wheelan, Joe Pantoliano, Spencer Grammer, Brittany Furlan, Beth Littleford, Kyle Kinane, & Alphonso McAuley. This looks a bit too crazy for my tastes. Movies may not have found the strength of women in motion pictures yet, but television has realized their full potential.
Everywhere you look lately, there is another television show proving talented women can easily carry a series on their firm shoulders, and Girlboss is no different.
Girlboss is a series loosely (don't lose the word loosely) inspired by a book about a woman, written by a woman, starring women, and at least half produced and directed by women. And it's awesome.
I haven't read the book on which it's based, but as the opening credits will tell you, it's a very loose adaptation of New York Times best-selling book #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso, founder of the fashion brand Nasty Gal. In fact, it's more of an inspiration than an adaptation.
The series itself was created by Kay Cannon (Pitch Perfect 1& 2, 30 Rock), who also serves as showrunner and wrote 9 of the 13 episodes.

The world of online retail can be a bitch, but it takes one to know one. In Netflix’s new series “Girlboss,” one young woman is going to find out what it takes to go into e-commerce for herself.
Inspired by the best-selling book “#Girlboss” by Sophia Amoruso, the series tells her story of starting out by dipping her toes in the eBay pond by clothes-flipping her vintage finds at local thrift stores. The first scene in the trailer below riffs off of a real-life event in which Amoruso bought a vintage Chanel jacket for $8 and sold it for $1,000.

It’s not clear how much the series will follow Amoruso’s entrepreneurial trajectory, but there’s plenty to mine from her experiences. After some highs and lows, Amoruso launched her own fashion brand, Nasty Gal, which became a popular and fast-growing retailer.

It’s not clear how much the series will follow Amoruso’s entrepreneurial trajectory, but there’s plenty to mine from her experiences. After some highs and lows, Amoruso launched her own fashion brand, Nasty Gal, which became a popular and fast-growing retailer.

Everyone knows the walk of shame, but it’s safe to say that most are not nearly as painful and comical as Elizabeth Banks’s in the new trailer for her upcoming comedy Walk of Shame. I wasn’t too impressed by the tamer trailer that dropped back in January, and though this new preview is certainly raunchier, it still doesn’t have me convinced that Walk of Shame will be anything special, despite its exceptional cast.
Check it out below:
Other than Banks running around in a tight yellow dress, there’s not much going for Walk of Shame so far as I can see. The jokes on display just aren’t that funny, and the most talented individuals in the cast (including Community...

In one of the most weirdly Los Angeles-focused (and just plain terrifying to Angeleno driers) press releases to ever land at Reject HQ, we’ve just received our first look (up top) at the Elizabeth Banks-starring Walk of Shame, thanks to a release that doesn’t emphasize the film’s fun cast (including Banks, James Marsden, Gillian Jacobs, Bill Burr, Liz Carey, Ken Davitian, Willie Garson, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Oliver Hudson, Alphonso McAuley, Kevin Nealon, Tig Notaro, Ethan Suplee, and Sarah Wright) or its amusing premise (Banks gets stranded in downtown La after a one night stand goes awry, with only eight hours to get to the biggest job interview of her career), but instead focuses on how much the film’s shoot has completely screwed up La’s already-screwed traffic situation. If you are an Angeleno, I beg you to brace yourself before reading some of the most hive-inducing details of said press release. Really...

The road closures lasted over six hours both Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3.

There won't be a last minute season three reprieve for Breaking In. After 20 episodes, the Fox sitcom has been cancelled for good this time.
Breaking In revolves around a crack team of security experts who will do just about anything to bug one another, get a job or keep a client. It stars Christian Slater, Megan Mullally, Alphonso McAuley, Bret Harrison and Erin Richards.
The sitcom debuted mid-season 2010-11 and did moderately well in its limited first season run. Fox cancelled it but then went on to make a new deal for a season two. While a lot of fans expressed excitement over the series resurrection, few seemed to care when the show returned this past March.
