The Kansas City Chiefs new post-season promotional trailer spoofs Hallmark rom-coms — but it sneaks in multiple references to the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance.
The trailer, called “Falling for Football,” follows a football fan (Hallmark leading man Tyler Hynes) who meets cute with fellow Hallmark mainstay Janel Parrish.
The set-up follows a typical rom-com plot. Parrish, having been left at the altar by a football-loving fiance, has grown to hate the sport. But she falls for a guy who works in a Chiefs merchandise shop, a job he initially keeps secret, until the big reveal. “You’re not just a fan, it’s your livelihood!” she cries, giving Hynes an ultimatum. “It’s the Chiefs or me!” she demands. “I hate football!”
But thanks to some wise advise from Donna Kelce (the mom of a certain Chiefs tight end who dates a pop superstar), Parrish comes around and finds love with Hynes.

Jaden Smith, the son of actors Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, has revealed the extent of his bond with his mother. He admitted that she introduced him to psychedelics. The 24-year-old explained that his mother also paved the way for psychedelic drug usage in his family, including his father, Will Smith and sister Willow Smith, reports Mirror.co.uk.
“I think it was my mom, actually, that was really the first one to make that step for the family,” he said at the Psychedelic Science Conference in Denver.
“It was just her for a really, really long time, and then eventually it just trickled and evolved, and everybody found it in their own ways.”
Jaden also noted that his use of psychedelics helped him build a stronger bond with his 22-year-old sister and half-brother Trey Smith, 30, who is Will’s son from his past marriage to Sheree Zampino. As per USA Today,...

Will Smith horrified his daughter Willow on the latest episode of Red Table Talk.
On Wednesday (14 December), Smith and his children Willow, 22, Jaden, 24, and Trey Smith, 30, took over Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch series.
During the episode, Smith opened up to his children about the “gruelling and transformative” process of filming his newest movie, Emancipation.
The Oscar-winning actor stars as freed slave Peter in director Antoine Fuqua’s thrilling film, based on a true story.
After sharing the “terrifying” experience of “psychologically” losing himself to his character Peter, Smith said: “I wanted to show you guys in real life some of the brutal, dehumanising devices that were used during slavery.”
“Oh no, no!” Willow exclaimed in response as someone on set brought out a neck device used to keep slaves from running away. “Why do we need to see that?”

Will Smith recalled a horrifying moment when he was stuck in chains on the set of his new slavery movie, Emancipation.
The actor appeared for a special edition of Red Table Talk on Wednesday (14 December) with his children, Willow, Jaden and Trey Smith to discuss his latest role.
Smith plays a man called Peter who escapes slavery in director Antoine Fuqua’s thriller, which is based on a true story.
Smith remembered the moment he “found” his character of Peter was when he put the slave’s metal neck cuff on for the first time.
However, his experience was deepened on one occasion when crew members were temporarily unable to remove the cuff from Smith’s neck.
“So they put it on, I’m standing there and he goes to take it off and it doesn’t work,” Smith told his children. “So it’s locked on and my heart jumps and I’m like,...

Will Smith took over the Red Table with his children Willow, Jaden and Trey Smith for the latest episode of the family’s Facebook Watch show.
The actor spoke about starring in the powerful new movie, “Emancipation”, which is based on that 1863 “Whipped Peter” photo, that Smith pointed out was arguably the first viral picture.
A synopsis for the film reads: “Peter, a slave, flees a plantation in Louisiana after he was whipped within an inch of his life. He has to outwit cold-blooded hunters and the unforgiving swamps of Louisiana on a torturous journey north.”
While filming the flick, Smith recalled how his co-star, Ben Foster, stayed in character for six months and wouldn’t speak to him.

On Wednesday, the daytime talk show host introduced a segment on 19-year-old TikTok star Swavy’s death by complaining that he had more TikTok followers than she does, but noting he didn’t eclipse her on Instagram.
“I have no idea who this is. Neither does Norman. Neither does one person in this building,” she said before commanding her audience to clap.
When a light smattering of applause broke out, she amended her instructions: “Clap if you know who Swavy is.”
The clapping stopped, which is when Williams moved on to a minute-long discussion of the social media following of the digital star, also known as Matima Miller. She didn’t appear impressed that her Instagram had more followers than his, noting that her son believes no one uses that app anymore. Finally, after about 57 seconds of discussion...

Blackbird Interactive, the studio behind the underrated 2016 Rts, Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, has revealed a new sci-fi game called Hardspace: Shipbreaker.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker tells the story of a blue-collar worker trying to make his way through space as a cutter: a kind of sci-fi scrapper who must break down and salvage broken space ships. As you might imagine, that’s not exactly the easiest way to make a living. It’s also not the typical set-up for a sci-fi gaming adventure.
According to Blackbird Interactive, telling a different kind of sci-fi story with Hardspace is kind of the entire point of the project.
“In most games you go out to the world and you experience the story of how the game takes place,” game director Trey Smith told PC Gamer. “In Hardspace: Shipbreaker, the story comes to you by way of these ships. In each one of these ships we...

Will Smith was surrounded by loved ones as he attended the premiere of Gemini Man in La on Sunday. The film sees Will battle a younger version of himself, so it's only fitting that the actor had his own mini mes there for the premiere. In addition to bringing his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, as his date, Will also had the support of his two sons, Trey Smith, 26, and Jaden Smith, 21. While Trey looked just like his dad with matching facial hair, Jaden copied Will's style as they both wore black suits. The Smith-Pinkett family, with the exception of Will and Jada's 18-year-old daughter, Willow, was all smiles as they huddled together on the red carpet and posed for photos. Keep scrolling to see more of their family outing ahead.

Booze is as much a staple of the country music scene as boots and back roads, and a recent article in the Washington Post looked into that connection and the influence of alcohol on Nashville, whom some cheekily refer to as “a drinking town with a music problem.”
According country musicians interviewed, having the appearance of using booze as pleasure or to drown sorrows is a major factor in being considered “authentic” in the Nashville scene. This is a holdover from the days of Hank Williams, a country idol who died at age 29 of a heart attack after a life of alcohol and substance abuse. As the Post points out, this view has led to the death of several country music stars.
“I thought everybody had to drink to be in this business,” country singer Keith Whitley said in an interview not long before his death at the age of 33 in 1989. “Lefty [Frizzell] drank,...
