- Has used Papa Roach's "Last Resort," Static-X's "This Is Not," Rob Zombie's "Pussy Liquor," and DJ Flashrider's "Attenzione (Jens. O Remix)" as entrance music in ROH, and Static-X's "Push It" in ROH and Full Impact Pro (Florida).
- His "Black Machismo" gimmick in 2006-2008 TNA derived from how he did a great Randy Savage imitation backstage and was turned into a Savage clone, complete with raspy voice, colorful outfit, Flying Elbow finisher, and 1980s wrestling references in his promos, such as calling his tag team partner Sonjay Dutt (Retesh Bhalla) "Bollea" (Hulk Hogan's real last name).
