- David Millar was born on January 4, 1977 in Mtarfa, Malta. He is an actor, known for The Program (2015), Dan Deacon: The Breakaway (2018) and Tour de France 2008 (2008).

But he did managed to win an Gold Medal for Malta that year on the "Games of the small states of Europe", held in San Marino. 2002 was fifth in the prologue of the Tour the France, but David stroke back in stage 13, an time-trail. He also was selected for the Scotland team, to compete at the Commonwealth Games, but withdrew to compete for Cofidis instead. 2003 Second in the prologue of the Tour the France, just after Bradley McGee, but again stroke back hard in stage 19, another time-trail on his victory list, won the "Tour de Picardie", prologue "Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen", stage 4 in the "Vuelta Cyclista a Burgos", stage 17 in the Vuelta. 2006 when he made his comeback after a 2 year suspension for using drugs, he became Brittish 4000 meters pursuit champion and won the 14th stage in the Vuelta. 2007 became Brittish champion in time-trail and road discipline, won the prologue of "Paris-Nice". 2008 prologue "Giro the Italia", second overall in the "Tour of California". 2009 stage 20 Vuelta, the "Edinburgh Nocturne", combativity award stage 6 in the "Tour the France", ninth in the "Dauphine Libere", he did all 3 great tours that year, the Giro the Italia, the Tour the France and the Vuelta.
