DJ Fresh has announced details of his new Fresh/Live tour. The dates follow his spring dates and a string of festival appearances, including Radio 1's Hackney Weekend, Global Gathering and Ibiza Rocks. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (August 22) at 9am and are priced at £15. Fresh/Live features DJ Fresh on live keyboard, backed by Kodish on drums, Richard De Rosa on guitar, Fleur on vocals and Messy Mc. DJ Fresh's third studio album Nextlevlism is released in October, and is preceded by a single 'The Feeling', featuring RaVaughn. DJ Fresh and Dizzee Rascal's new single 'The Power' has been unveiled. The collaboration was played on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show yesterday and is released via Ministry of Sound recordings on June 3 An upcoming video featuring Dizzee was shot at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. She did it! Tonight Cher Lloyd silenced the critics (for a few minutes anyway) as she topped the UK single charts with her debut single Swagger Jagger.
The X Factor star looked set to triumph at the start of the week, after she shifted 30,000 copies of the attitude packed song in it’s first two days of sale.
However, over the last few days, interest had waned somewhat and sales started to slow and as Cher slipped down the iTunes chart, to be replaced by Jls and One Direction, it looked like she may be pipped to the post at the last minute.
However it was revealed on Radio 1 this evening that Lloyd’s dreams had come true and she was this week’s number on artist.
On hearing the news, the 18 year old singer exclaimed:
“Having a No. 1 was the best thing I could have asked for!”

DJ Fresh and Kosheen star Sian Evans have stormed to the top of the UK singles chart with 'Louder'. The 34-year-old drum and bass artist - real name Daniel Stein - saw his track hit pole position after selling over 140,000 copies in just seven days. The figure is more than double that of this week's runner-up, 'How We Roll' by Loick Essien. 'Louder' becomes the second-fastest selling single of 2011 after Bruno Mars's former number one 'Grenade', which shifted in excess of 149,000 copies in January.
