- Terry Hanratty was born on January 19, 1948 in Butler, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an actor, known for Miller Lite: Tastes Great, Less Filling (1973), The NFL on CBS (1956) and NFL Monday Night Football (1970).
- Quarterback at Notre Dame from 1966 to 1968. All-American in 1968.
- Played for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1969-1975) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1976).
- Suffered a shoulder separation against Michigan State in 1966 and missed the season finale, a 51-0 blowout win over USC. Suffered a serious knee injury during practice late in the 1968 season and missed the last three games. Joe Theismann stepped in and performed admirably.
- Teamed up with Jim Seymour to form a record-setting passing combination at Notre Dame. The two became known as the Baby Bombers as well as, "Mr. Fling to Mr. Cling."
- Made his collegiate debut on national television against Bob Griese and Purdue on September 24, 1966. Threw three touchdown passes to Jim Seymour in a 26-14 Notre Dame victory.
