Going through the Irish papers after the post-New Year break doesn’t bring much good news, but it was especially shocking to read that this year’s Meteor Music Awards, Ireland’s equivalent of our Grammys, have been canceled for this year. A statement on Monday didn’t elaborate as to why, but it’s got to have something to do with financial constraints that are only growing bigger thanks to Ireland’s ongoing recession. The Hollywood actors, along with Kyle MacLachlan and Hugh Grant, took to the green for the two-day Jp McManus Pro-Am Tournament in Limerick, Ireland.
The actors showed off their golfing skills against capable players including Woods, Justin Rose and Padraig Harrington, reports the Daily Express.
