In high school he was known to carry his work off stage (never breaking
character) engaging in activities such as improvisations and private
moments.
Mentored by the great Russian actor Sergey Dreyden , of the Moscow Art Theatre
and star of the Alexander Sokurov masterpiece, Russian Ark.
Pounded a midnight beat for over a month in the projects of Red Hook,
Brooklyn, while preparing for his role in the play, "Nightswimming".
Temporarily damaged veins in both hands when he punched the ground in
"heads or tails".
Starred with Anna Chlumsky in the New York revival of Lanford Wilson's
classic play Balm in Gilead.
Tested for role of Mike Stemp in 88 Minutes (I).
Apprenticed Andy Goldsworthy in "White Walls", an installation at
Gallerie LeLong [New York City, May 2006].
Worked with famed Broadway director, Larry Arrick, on a workshop production of "The Diary of Anne Frank" (2009).
Jeff received a Daytime Emmy® Award nomination for creating and executive producing the original series, "Broadway Master Class", for Broadway on Demand.
