Another one of our favorite shows is back this week, as the whole of Master of None’s Season 2 hits Netflix, and one of the most hopeful new series of the year, Amazon’s I Love Dick, makes its leap from pilot to full first season the same day. There’s also the end of the first season of Riverdale, more Fargo and Better Call Saul, a must-see installment of Saturday Night Live, reason to check out the new sitcom Great News, and why we’re paying attention to the MTV Movie Awards this year.
To help you keep track of the most important programs over the next seven days, here’s our guide to everything worth watching, whether it’s on broadcast, cable, or streaming for May 7–13 (all times Eastern):

This month is packed with great television. A lot of our favorite shows are returning for new seasons and, in one special case, a resurrected series. Plus there are exciting shows and movies making debuts. That’s why we’re introducing a weekly guide to help keep track of everything worth watching, whether it’s on broadcast, cable, or streaming.
Here’s your breakdown, day by day (and all times Eastern), for April 9–15:
SUNDAYFeud: Bette and Joan (FX, 10pm)
It’ll be difficult to top last week’s brilliantly paced Oscars-set episode, but by now we’re in for the homestretch of the story of Davis and Crawford. In this week’s episode, “Hagsploitation,” the two rivals are sought to reunite for a follow-up to What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, and not to spoil film history, but we’re in for a look at the making of 1964’s Hush…Hush...

Last time on The Amazing Race, the six remaining teams performed some unusual challenges in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, including a camel beauty contest and white water rafting down a man-made course. Teams also encountered a U-Turn, and Nicole and Travis chose to U-Turn Leo and Jamal. Poor Nicky and Kim, who also had to perform a Speed Bump because they were the last team to arrive on the previous leg, were U-Turned by Timothy and Marie (Reebs).
Nicole and Travis were the first team to reach the Pit Stop, followed by Jason and Amy and Timothy and Reebs. And Nicky and Kim were eliminated from the race.
Who will take the lead on this leg of The Amazing Race? Let's find out!

There's no crying in baseball — or on The Amazing Race mat. Baseball wives Nicky and Kim kept their tears in check after their elimination on Sunday's episode because "we knew it was coming." "Phil [Keoghan] was like, 'Why aren't you crying?' And we were like, 'Well, we've had some time to digest that we're out!" Kim tells TVGuide.com. "We had a Speed Bump and got U-Turned. Once we got U-Turned, we knew it was over." But are they upset that Tim and Marie U-Turned them? Find out below.

It's really tough to keep a good Bunny down. That's been the lesson imparted by "The Amazing Race" for the past few weeks. Baseball Wives Nicky & Kim finished last in the season's fourth Leg, which ended up at a Viking lodge in Norway, but it was a Keep On Racing Leg. Then they finished last again in the seventh Leg, falling behind in Abu Dhabi, but it was a Non-Elimination Leg. What would it take to actually knock the Baseball Wives out? A full recap of Sunday (November 16) night's relatively fun, albeit entirely suspense-less, episode...

Last week on The Amazing Race, the remaining six teams traveled from Vienna, Austria, to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Teams enjoyed thrilling pursuits such as being driven around a race track at break-neck speed and dropping off a very tall building.
The first team to reach the Pit Stop was Leo and Jamal, followed by Jason and Amy and Nicole and Travis. The last team to arrive, Nicky and Kim, was teary at being eliminated, but wait! Host Phil Keoghan told the best friends that they were still in the race because this was a non-elimination leg.
So who will take the lead in this leg of The Amazing Race? Let's find out!

The Amazing Race, Season 23, Episode 5: “Get Our Groove On”
Aired Sundays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
We begin with the reveal of an amazing Amazing Race Fake-Out! Last week it looked like Nicole and Travis were laughing maniacally while leaving the Exes in a literally clue-less lurch—but alas, no such luck. With the urging of Tim, the Express Pass the Exes have been clutching on to since the very first episode is finally—Finally—passed on to the Married Physicians in exchange for Pit Stop information. Little do they know, though, their place in the race is secure anyway: no one is being eliminated in this leg, and they are to keep racing to Poland all together. The Baseball Wives, who are last, are relieved; The Zz Tops, who are first, are insanely, pointlessly delighted; and they’re all off to where Communism collapsed in Eastern Europe, and...

The Amazing Race rolled on last week to Lisbon, Portugal, with nine teams still in the competition. The first team to arrive at the Pit Stop was Nicole and Travis, followed by Jason and Amy in second place. Nicky and Kim were the third team to arrive.
In what can only be described as an epic amount of bad luck, Chester and Ephraim were actually met at the Lisbon airport by host Phil Keoghan. This was a bad sign, and they were eliminated from The Amazing Race. Chester and Ephraim's journey was something out of many a traveler's worst nightmare.

The Amazing Race, Season 23, Episode 1: “We’re Not in Oklahoma No More” Aired Sundays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
Phil Keoghan appears and tells us it is high noon, and that we are in an old western movie ranch. This is merely an excuse for fun music as nothing is really accomplished here, even after a tease that the money has been “stolen.” At least we get treated to two whole seconds of a stunt show style performance, because how else would you start the 23rd season of a reality show? Anyway, after a stumbling beginning, it’s thankfully all business as we meet the contestants. They are:
1. Former NFL Teammates Chester and Ephraim, who, incredibly, went from being bagger and customer to ending up on the same NFL team.
2. Theatre Performers Rowan and Shane, drag queens whose relationship is left predictably unclear.
3. Exes Tim and Marie, who have a hate/hate relationship.

One thing is clear about Canadian TV viewing habits -- we love our sports and we can't get enough of reality TV.
As 2011 quickly winds down, so, too, come the year-end lists flying at us fast and furiously. Bbm Canada, which measures televisions audiences, has done their research and ranked what Canadians had on the dial over the past 12 months.
And, yes, it's the usual suspects, so if you were hoping for "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" to make the cut, prepare to be sorely disappointed.
Top-Ranked Shows: Canada, 2011
1."The Big Bang Theory," CTV, 3,224,000
2."American Idol," CTV, 2,844,000
3."Grey’s Anatomy," CTV, 2,728,000
4."The Amazing Race 18 & 19," CTV, 2,637,000
5."Survivor: Redemption Island" & "South Pacific," Global, 2,617,000
6. "$#*! My Dad Says," CTV, 2,316,000
7."Dancing With the Stars 12 & 13," CTV, 2,147,000
8."CSI," CTV, 1,975,000
9."The Mentalist," CTV, 1,972,000
10."House," Global, 1,959,000

The 2010-11 season is still pretty young, but it's safe to say that it's not going down in TV history as the start of a new golden age.
So far no new series has established itself as a breakout hit or etched itself on the pop-culture landscape. Yes, there have been some popular successes ("Hawaii Five-0," "Mike & Molly") and a few critical darlings ("Boardwalk Empire," "Terriers"), but nothing so far has broken into the Holy-cow-did-you-see-that-last-night club.
The relative lack of buzz around this fall's crop of new shows got us thinking: Which season in the past decade or so has produced the best new TV? There have been two pretty amazing brilliant years, a handful of so-so seasons and a couple of real stinkers. Zap2it ranks the best seasons for new shows since 2000-01 in ascending order:
The strike year: 2007-08

It's a good day for funny people, especially if your name is Tina Fey or Seth MacFarlane.
Fey's series, 30 Rock, was handed 22 Emmy nominations this morning, which stands as a record for a comedy series. She and Alec Baldwin were also nominated for acting awards. Plus, for the first time some of the other actors on NBC's laffer were recognized. Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer and Tracy Morgan all picked up supporting nominations.
MacFarlane's Family Guy was also nominated for best comedy series, the first time an animated show has cracked that category since The Flintstones in 1961. Two years ago MacFarlane decided to pull his show from contention in the animated series category to have it considered for best comedy.
Mad Men, the drama about the advertising world in the sixties, picked up 16 nominations in the drama categories, including a best actor nod for Jon Hamm. Hamm is also nominated as...

Best.Gay.Week.Ever? I don't think so. First, there was that Amazon.com kerfuffle where the online merchant began treating almost all books dealing with gay subject matter (even purely academic ones) as adult content — excluding many very worthy titles from their sales rankings system and standard searches.
One sad result? When you type in "homosexuality" as a search on Amazon, the results are skewed dramatically toward crap like this:
(Here's my bit of unsolicited advice to Amazon shoppers who might be interested in A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality: "Do everyone a favor and don't have kids!")
So what's going on here? On the surface, it sure looked like Amazon had adopted some sort of conservative policy to effectively bury positive gay representation on their site.
But then company spokespersons variously blamed it on a computer "glitch," and a "ham-fisted cataloging error" and made assurances they were working on a fix.
