Charlie Sheen has spent his cash on a lot of interesting things in his day. But this latest item, if true, could be among the strangest. Sheen apparently purchased Lawrence Taylor's Super Bowl Xxv ring for $230,000 when it went up for auction last week.
Fox Sports Jay Glazer is reporting that Taylor and his agent Mark Lepselter were told on Wednesday (May 23) that the winning bidder for the jewelry was Sheen. Neither Sheen nor Scp Auctions have commented on the matter.
If Sheen turns out to be the buyer, it wouldn't be the first time the star of the upcoming FX series "Anger Management" has collected high-end sports memorabilia. Sheen has previously purchased Babe Ruth's 1927 World Series ring as well as the contract showing Ruth's infamous sale from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees.
