Despite several news organizations speculating that Dr. Drew Pinsky’s Hln show was canceled because of his recent comments about Hillary Clinton’s health, TheWrap has learned that the decision to end “Dr. Drew” was made several weeks ago and is unrelated to his controversial comments. An Hln insider with direct knowledge of the situation said that the network decided to cancel Pinsky’s show weeks before he said he was “gravely concerned” about Clinton’s health after evaluating her medical records with friend Dr. Robert Huizenga. Numerous media organizations, including the Washington Post, were quick to tie Pinsky’s...

Dr. Drew Pinsky is “gravely concerned” about Hillary Clinton’s health — as well as what he believes is her highly antiquated health care. After evaluating her medical records with friend Dr. Robert Huizenga — yes, the guy from “The Biggest Loser” — Pinsky called the Democratic presidential candidate’s treatment “1950-level care.” “If we were providing the care that she was receiving, we’d be ashamed to show up in a doctors’ lounge,” he said during a recent radio interview. “We’d be laughed out.” Also Read: Trump Accuses Clinton of Being 'Against the Police,' Pandering to African-American Voters Specifically, Clinton...

Dr. Robert Huizenga, the sports doctor who has worked with Biggest Loser contestants for the past 17 seasons, is suing a former contestant and the New York Post for defamation in connection with claims that he encouraged unsafe and illegal weight loss methods on the show, according to a lawsuit filed in Michigan federal court Thursday. Contestants began publicly clashing about the ways in which they lost weight after a scientific study suggested the rapid change might permanently slow their resting metabolisms. Joelle Gwynn told the New York Post that her trainer on the show offered her illegal drugs to

Dr. Robert Huizenga, the doctor featured on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” is suing the New York Post and former contestant Joelle Gwynn over published allegations that the show encouraged drug use to facilitate weight loss. In a suit filed on Friday, Huizenga, known on the show as Dr. H, claims articles published in the Post have damaged his reputation with “fabricated, fictitious and outright libelous statements about Dr. H and his treatment of past contestants.” He also accuses Gwynn, who is quoted in the stories, of lying about her time on the show. “This lawsuit became necessary to protect Dr.

After a controversial study examined the extreme weight loss tactics of NBC reality series "The Biggest Loser," some former contestants are saying that that research didn't go far enough -- and that the show actually encouraged contestants to take illegal drugs and starve themselves in order to shed pounds and boost ratings, among other shocking claims.
The New York Post reports that after the study was published in the journal Obesity earlier this month, several former contestants reached out to say that it only revealed part of the purportedly large set of problems with "The Biggest Loser"'s methodology. The study stated that the show significantly altered contestants' metabolisms and hormone levels, leading most to regain much or all of the weight they lost after they left the show. But according to the contestants that The Post spoke with, it did more damage than that.

Yesterday he filed for an overturn of his conviction and for release from a Las Vegas prison. He’s serving a 9 to 33 year term for charges stemming from a hotel room heist that involved guns.
Today is the 16th anniversary of the double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, his ex wife, and Ronald Goldman. A civil court decided he was responsible for the deaths. A criminal court jury, as we all know, acquitted him.
Having no sense of propriety or contrition, Simpson allowed his attorney, Yale Galanter, to file in the Las Vegas case on– of all days–the anniversary of this grisly murder.
