The conclusion of Bob Hearts Abishola draws near as its fifth season debuts on Monday, February 12 at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. In Season 5, Episode 1, “Kill the Cat,” when Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku) finds out Dele (Travis Wolfe) canceled his plans to go to Harvard behind her back, Bob (Billy Gardell) steps in to keep her from going ballistic. And TV Insider’s exclusive clip of the episode offers a look at Bob and Abishola clashing about Dele. Ebunoluwa (Saidah Arrika Ekulona) naturally takes Abishola’s side, not “drilling it into him hard enough” regarding getting into Harvard. However, Bob says, “You can’t use a country as a time-out.” At the end of it all, the ladies come to a conclusion that’s up to viewers to decide if it’s true. The Lazlo Pictures and Hb-Content film centers on Travis Wolfe who reconnects with his estranged uncle Robin, a veteran television producer on the wrong side of his career, in an attempt to unravel the mystery of his father’s suicide. With family secrets putting his new found connection with Robin to the test, Travis struggles to hold it all together long enough to figure out his future, as well as his past.
Mario Becerra and Jordan Nistico will also produce the pic alongside Boothe, while David Ragsdale and Perry serve as executive producers.
