Bob Nevin

Bob Nevin was a professional ice hockey player, who played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars and Los Angeles Kings in a total of 1,128 regular-season games as well as 84 playoff games. He also appeared in 13 regular-season games with the Edmonton Oilers of the WHA. His pro hockey career spanned from the 1957-58 season to the 1976-77 season. He was captain of the New York Rangers teams from 1965 to 1971. He was among the first few NHL players to wear contact lenses while playing.
