Until 2006, was Western Regional Manager and Commissioning Editor for Vision TV. Maureen worked with regional producers from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Yukon, NWT, and Nunavit, to develop and pre-sale a large portfolio of documentary and some drama. Many have received notable awards including an Emmy, Geminis (including a Canada Award) and gold at such festivals as Amnesty International, Columbus International, Dreamspeakers, Hot Docs, Prix Leonardo 2000, Chicago International, Japan Prize, etc.
Developed and Executive Produced Let's Sing Again, consistently one of Vision's top-rated show series between 1994 and 2000.
Developed and Executive Produced Connie Kaldor@Wood River Hall, Canada's first folksinging performance series showcasing cross-Canada performers for VisionTV
Developed first mentorship program within Vision TV with Vancouver Women in Film.
Earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Notre Dame University and the Kootenay School of Art and Masters in Arts in the Simon Fraser University School of Communications.
In 2007 presented with the Wayne Black Service Award by Vancouver Women in Film.
