When they first met, Alyson and Christopher knew they had some things in common.
But they didn’t realize just how much they shared.
They went to the same gym, and Alyson had noticed Christopher from a distance. “I had a total gym crush on him,” she tells Tubefilter. “We actually ended up being at the same supplement store nearby at the same time, and struck up a conversation, and the rest is history.”

‘Love Is Blind’ Star Natalie Accuses Ex Shayne Of Casting For ‘Perfect Match’ While They Were Dating
The drama continues for former “Love Is Blind” couple Natalie Lee and Shayne Jansen. The exes got engaged on season 2 of the Netflix dating show, but split at the altar after having an off-camera fight the night before their wedding. They later admitted to giving their relationship another go after the show wrapped, but ultimately went their separate ways.
Now, Shayne is preparing to appear in the new spin-off series, “Perfect Match”, where singles from different Netflix reality shows get together to see if they can have another chance at love.
In a new comment on TikTok, Natalie accused her ex of casting for the show while they were still together.
“He was casting for the show in November 2021 while we were in a relationship (obviously behind my back) so Hell Yes I Will Be Watching lol,” Natalie replied to one commenter asking for her thoughts on Shayne.

Kevin McCarthy was well aware he was going to lose his bid to become Speaker of the House of Representatives on the first ballot, three people with knowledge of the situation told Rolling Stone. What he was not privately predicting was that the beatings would continue for an entire week. “He knew he was going to get fucked — he just didn’t know they were going to fuck him this many times, or this hard,” explained one congressional aide.
Among the major factors in McCarthy losing more than a dozen speakership ballots,...

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are among the most highly scrutinized celebrities alive today. Mj Corey, whose Kardashian Kolloquium accounts on TikTok and Instagram analyze the relationships and social media posts of the Kardashian family through the lens of academic media theory, knows this better than anyone else.
“I sometimes seriously, sometimes satirically intellectualize the Kardashians, but more and more it’s become pretty earnest study,” Corey recently said on Don’t Let This Flop, Rolling Stone‘s podcast about TikTok and internet culture, co-hosted by Brittany Spanos and Ej Dickson.

"And where would we find all those giant turtles?" An official trailer has debuted for an indie comedy titled The Secret Society For Slow Romance, the latest from Brooklyn-based filmmaker Sujewa Ekanayake who is very active on Twitter talking about indie filmmaking. Set for release next spring and originally made during the 2020 pandemic summer, The Secret Society For Slow Romance is an indie dating-in-nyc story that's not really about romance, but it sort of is. Two extraordinary people go on several dates in New York City and plan a project that may change the world for the better - when they discover a way to end poverty worldwide. Described as "a comedy inspired by My Dinner with Andre, Before Sunrise, and Werewolf Ninja Philosopher." The film stars Alia Lorae and Sujewa Ekanayake as the couple. With music by Kevin MacLeod. This looks like a homemade adventure through NYC with plenty of fun conversations.

What would happen if you put a Disney Channel mom and a CW mom in the same room? True, it’s a scenario you’ve probably never thought about, but Kim Rhodes is here to give us an answer.
The actress is best known for playing Carey Martin, the zany mother on “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” — and a few episodes of its spinoff “The Suite Life on Deck” — as well as Jody Mills on The CW’s long-running hit “Supernatural.” Like many, Rhodes joined TikTok during quarantine, cataloging her descent into cabin fever.

Knowing her audience, Rhodes literally made her bio “The person who played Zack and Cody’s mom And that cop on Supernatural.” But on February 2, she took things a step further. On February 2, 2021, Jody Mills and Carey Martin came face to face.

Although it has been around for many centuries and was one of the highest arts of ancient Greek scholars, in recent years disciplines such as philosophy have come under attack due to their use for the modern man, or for that matter, the students of today. In his provoking essay “The Usefulness of the Useless” the author Nuccio Ordine, a professor for literature at the University of Calabria, states that especially today it has become increasingly challenging for some to understand the use of a poem, a piece of art, or for that matter, a philosophical argument when compared to the practicality of tools. However, while the point certainly has some value, the “usefulness” (for lack of a better word) in philosophy lies much deeper and cannot be defined directly, since most authors and scholars of the field go into much detail, analyzing hidden meanings and layers below the surface,...

On episode 36 of Film Focus, I talk about theme songs in superhero films. Now, this is a topic I’ve wanted to cover for a little while and after the release of Wonder Woman and how much people have taken to her theme song, I thought the time was right to talk about it on the podcast. So superhero theme songs, while it is not an element that a lot of people pay attention to, it is one of the key aspects that make superhero characters recognisable and awesome and in this episode I cover:
1) Superhero theme importance.
2) The recognisable themes.
3) The themes that don’t get enough love.
4) The themes that missed the mark.
5) And upcoming superhero films that could have good theme songs.
P.S. There are moments of me giving verbal renditions of some of the theme songs so if you find it a little cringeworthy I apologise in advance.

On episode 35 of Film Focus I talk about the latest film in the Planet of the Apes reboot series; War for the Planet of the Apes. Now of all the films I was looking forward to this year including Logan, Guardians 2, Spider-Man and the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok and Star Wars Episode VIII, War for the Planet of the Apes was easily in the top 3.
Back in 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes really blew me away with its interesting story, characters, and action, and then Dawn of the Planet of the Apes came out 2014 and completely floored me with the character-driven story, drama, and visual effects. And since the first trailer dropped last year I’ve been beyond hyped to see if this film would deliver the epic third chapter that this trilogy needed. So how does War for the Planet of the Apes fare? Well check out this spoiler-free review to find out.

On episode 34 of Film Focus I talk about the latest film from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures in the form of Spider-Man: Homecoming. After Spider-Man he was introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War last year I knew I was ready for his solo film straight away.
So with a decent marketing campaign and a lot of hopeful interviews from the cast and crew about how this latest version of Spider-Man would turn out, is it a successful reboot or another disappointing session? Well, check out this spoiler-free review to find out.
P.S. I probably sound less charismatic than usual and that was due to me being really exhausted at the time of recording and I apologize for that if I come across as unenthusiastic.
Theme music is “Pulse Rock” by Kevin MacLeod which can be found at https://incompetech.com/

On episode 33 of Film Focus I talk about the latest film from Warner Bros. and DC; Wonder Woman. Now there’s been a lot of hype and concern that’s been projected onto this film from the day it was announced, and it has also faced an uphill battle with skeptics who were either unimpressed with the previous films in the Dceu or weren’t keen on Gal Gadot as the title character. So, with all that in mind does Wonder Woman succeed as not only the first good Dceu film but also the first female-lead superhero film?...
