The larger-than-life exploits of one of America's most notorious tech tycoons may soon be getting the Hollywood treatment, The Atlantic Wire reports.
McAfee, 67, has been on the run in South America since neighbor Gregory Faull was shot to death near McAfee’s Belize home on Nov. 11. The media-savvy millionaire was recently arrested in Guatemala and is facing deportation to Belize, where he is a person of interest in the Faull investigation.
He has apparently sold the rights to his story to Montreal-based TV producer Impact Future Media, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“[McAfee] trusts that we will honor his life story in an honest and truthful manner,” Honolulu-based Brian Fitzgerald, co-founder of the TV production company, told The Hollywood Reporter in an email statement.

Toronto -- U.S. antivirus pioneer John McAfee, recently arrested in Guatemala and facing deportation to Belize as part of a murder investigation, apparently has entrusted his life story to Montreal-based TV producer Impact Future Media.
