The Art Directors Guild, IATSE Local 800, is “wholeheartedly” urging its members to authorize a strike against film and TV production companies all across the country. The leadership of all three IATSE locals with national jurisdiction – the Art Directors Guild, the International Cinematographers Guild and the Editors Guild – have now gone on record recommending that their members authorize a strike in voting that begins on Friday.

Nelson Coates has been reelected president of the Art Directors Guild, IATSE Local 800. Coates, who ran unopposed, was first elected to the post in 2015.
“I am honored and humbled to be given the opportunity to continue leading the Art Directors Guild – one of the most creative and influential Locals in the entertainment business,” said Coates, the production designer on Crazy Rich Asians and Apple TV+’s The Morning Show. “Championing the talents of our 3,000 members, addressing the unprecedented industry challenges and changes brought about by the pandemic, fostering member diversity, equity and inclusion, and striving to keep Adg members at the forefront of technological advances are but a few of the many areas of continued focus. Also elected for three-year terms are Art Director Jim Wallis (Vice President), Production Designer Cate Bangs (Treasurer), and Art Director Judy Cosgrove (Secretary). With ABC's "Desperate Housewives" jumping ahead five years for its upcoming fifth season, four newcomers have come aboard to play the now-aged Scavo kids.
Joshua Moore is set to play Parker, the oldest son of Tom and Lynette Scavo (Doug Savant and Felicity Huffman). Charles and Max Carver will play trouble-making twins Porter and Preston, respectively, and Kendall Applegate has signed on as Penny, the youngest child and only daughter.
The three sons will now be teenagers, while the daughter is around 8 or 9 years old.
Moore is repped by Innovative and manager Adam Griffin. Applegate is repped by Acme Talent and Literary and managers Jamie Malone and Judy Cosgrove.
