Stars: Larisa Oleynik, Erin Daniels, Heather Tom, Christine Donlon, Christian Oliver, Jasmine Dustin, Jonathan Murphy, Don Frye, Eric Tiede, Whitney Davis | Written by Jonathan Murphy | Directed by John Woodruff
Fifteen years ago, two teenage girls were murdered at Merrymaker Campgrounds. The case was filed as an animal attack, the camp was condemned, and the killer never found. Now, years later Poppy (Christine Donlon) and Anita Bishop (Larisa Oleynik) get set to re-open their parent’s camp. And they even invite Roland Baumgarner (Christian Oliver), the novelist who made his name by penning a bestseller about the case, to the opening.
Billed as yet another Bigfoot/sasquatch movie, Animal Among Us is actually anything but. It is in fact a melding of genre tropes: monster movie, cabin in the woods film, survival horror, dramatic thriller, all rolled into one – sadly – dull genre film saved only by a surprising performance by former Alex Mack Larisa Oleynik.

Benjamin Walker is to play Hank McCoy aka Beast in X-Men: First Class, according to Showbiz 411.
Earlier tonight, it was reported that he had been offered a role in the film, which was speculated either to be Beast or Banshee.
Beast, who has superhuman agility and strength, was played by Kelsey Grammer in X-Men: The Last Stand. The character originally had a human appearance before an experiment progressed his mutation and gave him blue fur, claws and fangs.
Walker is the star of New York's hit musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which had been planning to transfer to Broadway in the autumn but would now have to wait until he is finished filming on X-Men.
He joins James McAvoy, who is playing the younger version of Patrick Stewart's Professor Charles Xavier.
Other reports have linked Rosamund Pike to playing either Emma Frost or Moira MacTaggert; Michael Fassbender to a...

In The absence of further casting announcements for X-Men: First Class, the gossip and speculation continues.
According to the New York Times, Benjamin Walker (pictured) - star of the acclaimed musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson - has been offered "an enviable role in a coming X-Men project".
This must be a reference to First Class, which is now being cast by director Matthew Vaughn.
So far only James McAvoy has been officially confirmed in the cast; he's playing a younger version of Patrick Stewart's Professor Charles Xavier.
Earlier reports have linked Rosamund Pike to the roles of Emma Frost or Moira MacTaggert; Michael Fassbender to a young Magneto, though he is said to have declined an offer to audition; and Aaron Johnson to an unspecified character, speculated to be Cyclops.
Walker's musical connections could mean he is in line to play Sean Cassidy, the Irish mutant called Banshee with...
