- Pictured on one of six Canadian permanent-rate commemorative stamps issued 3 October 2014, honoring the original six National Hockey League teams (Pilote represents the Chicago Blackhawks). Stamps were issued in booklet panes of six, making price on day of issue CAN$0.85 each. Others honored in this issue were Bobby Orr, Harry Howell, Doug Harvey (Montreal Canadiens), Tim Horton (Toronto Maple Leafs), and Red Kelly.
