Right before the barbeque grills fire up this summer, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the latest seasons of USA Network’s hottest series on DVD.
You can nab both Burn Notice Season 5 and the recently concluded White Collar Season 3 on June 5, 2012 on DVD. Sorry – if you’re looking to see Michael Westen (Jeffrey Campbell) and Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) in hi-def, you’re out of luck: no Blu-ray release for these two (Fox only tried hi-def with Burn Notice’s second season).
Here’s some notes on the extra content that will be included with these releases:
Burn Notice Season 5 DVD:
* An extended episode
* Deleted scenes
* Gag reel
* The villains of “Burn Notice.” Fans will celebrate the best of the “worst,” by exploring the “Burn Notice” bad guys and get unique insights from the actors who play them along with a snarky rebuttal on their deeds from “Burn Notice” star,...

Michael Westen being back with the CIA was already the spy's return to the big show before the WWE got involved.
Now, the formerly burned protagonist of Burn Notice is going to have some rather large problems this summer, as Entertainment Weekly reports that famed WWE wrestler "The Big Show" will tangle with Westen and crew when the series returns this summer on June 23rd.
According to the report, the "largest athlete in the world" Big Show will appear in season five's fourth episode as "Griffin Black, a a low-iq lowlife who works as a hired hand for more dangerous foes." And if that weren't intimidating enough, check out the wrestler's character description:
"A 6’6″, 300-pound “monster of a man who looks like a grizzly bear that just escaped from the zoo” with a rap sheet as vast as it is troubling (robbery to indecent exposure)"

It looks like Fiona Glenanne may have a little competition when Burn Notice returns this Summer on June 23rd. Or, is it Michael Westen who should be watching his back?
TVLine reports that Burn Notice's fifth season has cast former Grey's Anatomy and Community guest star Lauren Stamile for a major, recurring role as fellow CIA agent Kim Pearce, Michael having been recently re-inducted into the intelligence agency at the end of the fourth season.
According to the report, Stamile's Kim Pearce enters the scene as "a brilliant, unpredictable and formidable operative sent by the CIA to investigate the murder of one of their own. She leans on Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) to help her find the killer, only to learn that Michael himself may be involved."
Joining Lauren Stamile for the ride are returning guest stars Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Supernatural) and Dylan Baker (Spider-Man 2, Kings), who plays Michael's shadowy handler.
